from http://www.brookwoodcamps.com/About_us/Directors.html

Brookwood Camps has been family owned by the Fiedler's since 1986.

Also, Scott's brother Jay serves as a consultant to camp. Jay is a Dartmouth grad and is currently the starting quarterback of the Miami Dolphins

$6200 U.S/Dollars

I am actually considering it as an option since it w/b cool for my son to go though not sure I would send him alone w/o any friends - thoughts ?

wow, thats alot of cash. do i have to split the bill 50/50 with you if i want the autograph?

if my dad wanted to send me there when i was a kid, that would be like 45% of his take home income for the year. now i know why my dad gave me a home made tent and sent me in the bush behind our house ever holiday............ man, the winters were so cold............

Sleep away camp? It sounds like punishment. I have a few friends who used to go, they didn't have TV and were bossed around, they said it was fun but it sounded like a horrible summer to me.

when you are a little kid (8-12) years old, I would think anyone "bossing you around" other than your parents if a relief ;)

$6200 to kick it with Jay for 8 weeks? No thanks.

Now Marino may be a different story. ;)

I went to boy scout camp when I was young. That was great. Lived in indian camps, shot bows and arrows etc.

I've sent two sons to a summer camp...and neither one of them liked it But they both turned out to be great guys, so it didn't do them any permanent damage. However, if this would be your son's first time away from you, you might want to consider a camp of shorter duration, and one that is easier on the pocketbook.:(

What? I don't remember disliking summer camp

Now, I could see Chris not liking it...

6200 is tons of money, not worth it.
