for the Fins....Jason Hill, Craig Davis, Sidney Rice, A Gonzalez.....and probably more......which one really is a good fit.....I'm thinking more and more that we're gonna have a shot at Quinn or go BPA with 9 and that we will fill our WR need in the 2-3 round.....dont know much about these guys and would want to know who would be the best fit.....Just from what I've read I really like Craig Davis if he falls to 60

if we take Quinn in round 1, then we have to go OL in round 2.

Chances are we will trade up to get Quinn. Therefore we might not have any 2nd round picks.

If we were to take one of those guys I'd want Sidney Rice, I think he's gonna be a good player at the next level. Next on the list would be Gonzalez, although I don't really know what he brings to our team that we dont already have, Rice could be our #1.

FO has hinted it will draft at least a couple of linemen.

Out of those I would say Rice as we need speed, also seems to have the most upside but need to add musle to a very skinny frame. Hill and Davis have onley seen play a few times so don't know enough about them. As far as Gonzalez I do not like at all lacks speed, plus he was the main person that benifited from Ginn being around. Look at the Fl game OSU off feel apart without Ginn, cause cause Gonzalez was easy to shut down with out Ginn geting all the attenion fron the D. As far as WR's go I say if Quinn is not there at 9 we draft Ginn. Just cause we need a guy like him. He changes the way a defence has to play even when the ball is not in his hands because he must be accounted for at all times. The first time u don't account for him and there could be a 6 being put up on the board.

how about steve smith? seems like no one is considering him but he would be a solid pick in my opinion. fast, good hands, great route runner, played for a very good program and is used to being in the spotlight and played against some of the best defenses in the country.

Honestly, I don't see what the major risk is? Who do we have now, Culpepper and Cleo Lemon? Yea, they did SUCH a great job last year. Face it, Culpepper is NEVER going to be the way he was years ago in Minn. Even IF he gets healthy, how much longer will he be playing? And playing at the level of a championship QB?

Who do you see becoming available anytime in the future, be it draft or FA, that has even the SLIGHTED bit of potential Quinn has? Sure, there is a small chance he doesn't pan out, but I'm willing to take that chance, because the QBs on the roster now aren't panning out, and there is nowhere else to turn to. We can basically only go up in this situtation.

If we trade a few picks for Quinn and he busts what do we potentially lose? An OL or maybe some depth at LB/DL? OK, fine, those positions are ALWAYS pretty deep. QB is the toughest position to play, so it's not easy to pass on a QB rated this high and think you can fill the need in the later rounds, it doesn't work as good with QBs as it does with other positions. QB will ALWAYS be the hardest spot to fill, so if you are in position to get a rare talent like a Brady Quinn, you don't pass it up because you MIGHT lose the chance at a backup player.

Chances are, if we get Quinn, we will have traded up for him. He wont be around at #9. Thus possibly costing us our 2nd round picks.

Rice definitely isn't a speedster, in fact he may be the slowest player out of all those you listed. We do really need speed, but Rice is too good to pass up IMO.

I would take any of them but I wonder about two guys in particular.

Craig Davis and Jason Hill. I dont know a whole lot about them except there numbers and where they are from. Speed is all over this draft at WR. Even guys projected to go in the 5th 6th and 7th rounds.

My Fox Sports list has him at 4.5 speed. To me that is not slow for a guy who is 6-4. It is the guys who run 4.6 that worry me on the speed side of things but Rice is the guy that beat Chris Houston in the endzone fade in Mayocks highlights. Not that one play makes a great player overall but it shows the guy has the moves.

His size-to-speed ratio is impressive, but 4.5 speed is considered sub-par for modern receivers. He isn't gonna burn any corners in a foot race. Don't get me wrong, he would be my choice out of the group the OP listed, but he isn't a burner, thats my point. Love to grab him at 40.

I would take Craig davis at 40 if no one of bigger need slipped. He runs fast, works hard, catches the ball real well, and is smooth in and out of his breaks. Some think he'll be a better pro than Bowe. Davis could fill our need at flanker unlike Gonzo, or Jarrett. Rice may turn out real good, but he is still raw, and Hill is sort of a toss up for me. I like him, but not more than Davis or Rice.

That, my friends, is the reason we haven't been **** since Marino retired. And until we draft a QB, we will continue to be ****

He is 3 inches taller than Booker (I think)

I don't like the idea of drafting WR until at least 2b... I definitely think there's a greater likelihood of us selecting WR at 2b, 3, or 4 rather than 1 or 2a... therefore, Steve Smith/Hill/Williams/Clowney/Allison... in that order.

Gonzo, and here's why:
1. He has speed, 4.4 40. And plays with passion, he really loves the game.
2. He's an extremelly smart guy. He plans to go to Law School. And is a high character and hard working guy, something coach Cam likes.
3. He's from down here and playing in his back yard in front of his friends and family is something he has said he would love. He also said that he loves UM's law school, although Standford Law school is his first choice.

Aundrae Allison is a guy I like alot. has good speed, smooth athlete, and great hands, one of my sleepers. probably can be had at 2b, or even in round 3
