ha i knew leaf would be number one.

i think quinn and russell will be the only qb's taken in round 1. the question is, whic one of them will be a bust?

I think Tim Couch should have been higher on the list. He was the first pick of that draft.

Where is David Carr?

Now that I think about it, where is Jeff George?

Agreed on Couch . . . he should have been in the top 10 IMO . . . atleast top 15.

Carr has been a starter for 5 years w/ a good passer rating and completion percentage on a expansion team . . . that isn't a bust at all. Maybe he hasn't been like Manning or Palmer (other number 1 picks) . . . but I wouldn't say he has been a bust . . . especially w/ the line he had and the overall lack of talent on that team.

Man, we get mad about Wanstache passing on Boldin and Brees and those type of players. But how about the Chargers taking Leaf over Manning. That has to be the biggest brain fart in the history of the NFL. The Jets probably took over their war room on draft day.

Indy draft Manning #1. Leaf went #2 to the Chargers. Mistake with Leaf, but the Chargers did not pass on Manning.

I thought the same thing but I remember he actually had a few good years. I checked his stats and he actually ended up with a respectible career. Not worth a 1, but not the worst we've seen.

funny how they mention name brian nagle name with dan mc gwire and todd marinovich and the funny part is the jets took nagle when they had a trade in place to move up one spot to take favre but would not give up a 3rd rd pick, another funny thing is you take mc guire first name and take off the vich in marinovich you get dan marino and the jets get nagle and not favre or marino who they culd have had in 83 , the reason why nagle wasn't a big bust is he was a 2nd rd pick
