It's a no brainer...

Brady Quinn

or Ted Ginn

Either one will make us more potent on offense and be a welcomed addition to the team.:bighug:

quinn would be the obvious no brainer if he dropped, ginn might be a pick that would be criticized..keyword might

Quinn would be a no-brainer. Ginn would be a very bad pick. Look at the production of Higgins vs. Ginn. Higgins had twice the production, can also return kicks, and could be taken in the late second round. Just say no to Ginn.

GO PHINS~!

If Quinn isn't there, no way should we take Ginn, theres other viable options that could be available, not sure how just Quinn and Ginn are the "no brainers" when Quinn could be gone and Ginn shouldn't be an option at 9

Late next week, the Dolphins will play host to Ted Ginn Jr., his father said Monday. The visit is expected to take place April 19 or 20, Ginn Sr. said. Ginn. Jr., who is far more likely to be available with the Dolphins' ninth overall pick than Brady Quinn or JaMarcus Russell, is a speedy threat with potential to replace Wes Welker as the team's kick returner. -- Miami Herald

If Quinn falls to us, I don't think there's any way we pass on him, but I highly doubt he will make any impact his rookie year. In fact, I hope we're able to let him learn from the sidelines his first season or 2. Selecting him would be great for the future of this team, but it will also put a lot of pressure on Cam/Mueller to make good selections with the rest of our day 1 picks.
Ginn would be able to contribute right away, if we don't get Quinn.

Who should the Dolphins pick in round 1? Not Ted Ginn. Everyone wants him because he can be great returning kicks but the guy is not a good reciever. Just because he's fast doesn't make him good. Look at Troy Williamson. Outstanding speed but is a horrible reciever. If speed was the only key to wide recievers, then why doesn't Miami go try to sign an Olympic sprinter to play reciever?

I would love to see either one. A real pipe dream would be us getting Quinn and Ginn falling to the 2nd round.

YOU MAKE TO MUCH SENSE...SAY NO TO GINN!!!
JL Higgins a much better receiver and a very good return man with 4.34 speed...BUT NO people want someone who will be a non factor in the red zone and this is one of our problem areas....AND I'M GOING TO POUND THE DRUM AGAIN GINN WAS THROWN TO 6 TIMES IN 3 YEARS IN THE RED ZONE

I REPEAT THROWN TO 6 TIMES IN 3 YEARS...POTENTIAL RED FLAG...I THINK SO!!!!
