Anyone else installed the custom 3.10 OE firmware and playing Playstation 1 titles on their PSP?
I've dusted off my PSP and now can play any nintendo, super nintendo, playstation 1, gameboy and gameboy advance titles on it.

A 4gb memory stick helps! :D

Yep, runs great.

I love playing Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha on the PSP. And to finally have Suikoden and Suikoden II on my PSP is just great, since Konami never brought their PSP JP version to the US. *******s!!!!!

BTW, I would recommend using IceTea (http://dl.qj.net/IceTea-v1.3-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/12556/catid/151) (http://dl.qj.net/IceTea-v1.3-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/12556/catid/151) to create your PS1 EBoots as I just think it's a nicer app (was no need for base.pbp or keys.bin using it). I've only tested it with 3.10 OE-A' so I cannot say if it works with 3.03 OE-(A)(B)(C).

It's pretty simple if you just read and comprehend what you are doing. Just follow the guides and do exactly as they tell you. Read ahead two or three steps when you're following the guide so you can know what to expect on the next step. Honestly, it's super easy.

I worried too initially, but the risk is low. Now with the recovery mode, you can recover from a semi bricked psp.
I highly recommend that you do it if you already have downgraded to 1.5. Going to 3.10 OE-A is really simple.

I bet Sony never knew that this little system would be capable of so much.
