If Randy and Cam are sold on Brady Quinn, I wouldn't be surprised to see us trade up with the Redskins at #6 to get Quinn if he's still there. The Redskins are set with Jason Campbell at QB and they don't have many draft picks as it is because they tend to use their draft picks as currency in order to get big name free agents. Cam and Randy better be ready to wheel and deal.

The thing is, I bet Quinn is already gone by #6. Probably the Browns or maybe the Lions will grab him. Quinn wants to play for his favorite team as a kid ... the Browns. He's a hometown boy. That might be a factor.

Keep our picks and select Kolb or Beck in the 3rd-4th, if anything trade our #9 spot to someone like Pitt or Carolina for a first and 3rd , then if Levi is there, take him otherwise grab Olsen.

I agree with DolphinsFan23. The closer we get, the more I think that moving up to even #6 won't cut it.

IMO to get Quinn we would have to trade into the #2 or #3 Spot. I think it will cost the #9 this year, a 2007 2nd Rd pick, and a 2008 1st Rd pick.

I don't think the Bucs trade up for C.Johnson. The threat of him being taken by either Det or Cle is not high. The threat is high that Quinn is gone to one of those two or that Minny trades up for Quinn.

I am from Minnesota (not a good place to be a phins fan!) and IMO they do not select Brady Quinn for numerous reasons.

1. Brad Childress would ultimately be admitting he made a huge mistake giving away two picks to move up and draft Tarvarius Jackson who would have probably dropped to their next pick if not the next round. And from what I hear about Childress he doesn't like to admit that he was wrong.

2. They have 2 young quarterbacks in Bollinger and Jackson and bringing another one in wouldn't give them an immediate starter leaving them without a starter on opening day.

3. Minnesota was at Quinn's first pro-day but Quinn has said since then they have not even contacted him one time to meet or workout.

4. Minnesota knows that Quinn will be in high demand come the 7th overall pick (if still available) and they are certain that they will be able to get more picks out of someone if they make people believe that they are going to select him!

I say we chance it, don't give anything up to move up to get him because going to number 2 would be too expensive and any team after 3 I really don't see taking him. Worse comes to worse there is a huge group of QBs that can be taken in the 2nd or 3rd rounds of this draft that could become starters in the NFL including Stanton, Edwards, Kolb, and Beck. These guys won't demand the salary that Quinn will and we won't have to give up any draft picks to get them.

I know Miami has brought Pinkney in but if they wait until the 6th to take a quarterback I will be quite upset!
