Former Dolphins punter Matt Turk, who was replaced by Donnie Jones in Miami, also now appears on the way out in St. Louis because of Jones. Turk, an unrestricted free agent, won't be making a return to South Florida since the Dolphins are not interested in re-acquiring him. LSU kicker/punter Chris Jackson met the Dolphins last week. He could be a potential draft prospect as a punter -- and he would also be a good insurance policy as a backup kicker to Jay Feely. -- Miami Herald

Supelveda or Podlesh is who we want...with a 7th rounder.

I know about these two..just curious as to what round do you think they will fall?..The 7th?..Might be too late no?

Very few punters are ever drafted by NFL teams, it is even rarer than kickers....I think Sepulveda could go as early as the 6th just because he has the best stats since Ray Guy. But I think Podlesh could be around in the 7th....if not, we could do a lot worse than Matt Turk...we had Mark Royals who was terrible.

Sepulveda could go on the 1st day.

Look out for David Simonoff.

I wouldn't expect us to use any of our picks on a punter. I also don't think we will be going to the f/A market unless we absolutely have to. Look for us to grab one or two punters in the undrafted rookie class and let them battle it out for the top spot.
