He is projected in the 6th round. That's a complete steal. He could be an ideal guy to be groomed by Zach Thomas. He is very similar in his playing style. He is all over the field and has an engine that doesn't quit. If we got him, we could have an extremely solid backup for Zach.

Who likes and who doesn't?

yea i dont know about 6th round i have heard 3rd maybe 2nd, i am pretty sure he will be gone by the 6th. but i do agree he would be a good pick in the 3rd or 4th round. he is a machine and would def be a beast with our lb core

SI. They said height and 40 wasn't that fast. But I have watched this guy for years, and he reminds me a LOT of ZT.

If he slips to 4 or 5th round, we should grab him.

He wouldn't be a very good fit in our defense.

another guy like that is Jon Abbate out of Wake Forest. That guy probably will actually be around between rounds 5-7

If we're going by people to eventually succeed ZT then Abbate (Wake Forest) before Buster.

If we are going by Noles that I'd like to see in A & O next year then Timmons way before Buster Davis.

You know who else is a good pick? Patrick Willis ! We are not drafting a LB'er. If we do it should be Willis. Davis in the 6th Round would be a steal. Too bad he'll be long gone by then.

I like Buster Davis. He will be gone way before the 6th.

He was on fire in their bowl game.

6th round? yeah right he is the #2 linebacker in the league and we will be lucky to see him in the second. he will definately be gone by 3.

I guess I disagree with alot of people on here.... I think Buster should consider himself lucky being drafted in the 4/5th round. I don't seem him anything more than at best a special teams player with a club before being done altogether in the NFL within 2-3 yrs.

I think Buster Davis is a 3rd -4th round pick, I am just going by what I have read online. Dont shoot the messenger.

Abbate is a great pick too. Obviusly Timmons would be a massive pickup, but he will probably go in round 1.
