The guy is a dadgum Russian gymnast,” said Randy Pippin, the head coach at Northwest Mississippi.
Thomas’s flexibility has become part of his lore. He does handstands and handsprings, broad jumps and cartwheels. When he gets excited, he will do a back flip.
“I never thought a body that big could flip in the air,” said Ron Holmes, who coached Thomas at Ball High School in Galveston. “I wouldn’t have believed it unless I’d seen it with my own two eyes.”

Holy Crap!!! Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on this guy.......

I heard about this guy on NFL Sirius Sunday night. His agent was on board for an interview. Sounds like a potential 7th round steal. Pretty dadgum athletic for a big man!

I wonder what the draft gurus (CK, KB21, etc...) think.

probably not much, i dont think there is any film on him... i would guess its all speculation and measurables at this point...

Big man has some nice moves, but just because he can move like a gymnast doesn't mean he can play in the NFL. I would love to hear more about him though.

I'd take him, and let Traylor school him, teach him the tricks of the trenches. I'd also like him at TE in short yardage to blow up that DE and Ronnie skates for the easy TD.

that would be a very nice steal....its funny bc i was just thinking about us taking Amobi Okoye with our first rounder and all his good character and leadership qualities but then u see this thug and can take him in the sixth round and he might turn out to be a bad *** in the league

Good size and measurables but questionable character. Worth a look with a 7th rounder.

it says in the article that he visited 3 teams the dolphins, jets and browns. very interesting..remember our coach is the guy that took a basketball player and turned him into the best TE in the league. point being is that i dont think his lack of playing time will be an issue. i say get him and see what he can do.

He went to Northwest Mississippi Community College which is right down the road from me...A friend of mine play Og for Northwest(A pretty good player scouted by sec schools) and he says in practice he would just throw him right on the ground by his facemask...He said that the coach would see if 3 people could block him and most of the time they couldnt...He had some problems and doesn't have much film but with the % of 5-7th rounds picks actually on the roster I would give a 5th or a 6th for him just because of his size

This guy brings up memories of Eric Swann, formerly of the Cardinals. Swann didn't make it to college for various reasons, but yet was productive in the NFL for a few years before injuries ended his career.
