Legend mode sounds like a huge waste of time, with a bunch of boring filler.

In high school (maybe college too, I dunno) You can't control any character but you're own, which is lame as hell. So, if want to be a QB, you're screwed. Not only can't you call the plays, which could lead to non stop runs but you're not involved in in 2/3 of the offense (rushing, and running after the catch are excluded). It's basically all computer simulated. BORING. If you want to be a WR, then you're really ****ed. Can't throw yourself the ball, so you're looking at 2-3 chances a game to even play!

Then at night you can choose to A) Play B-Ball (simulated), B). Study (simulated) and I would personally add C). Kill yourself (simulated). It's just wasting time. Just practice and get going already...

It's lame. I'd rather create a character, recruit him, and skip all of the B.S. wasting of time. That's just me though.

You've obviously not played the previous year's campus legend or Madden's Super Star mode. It it awesome. They will give you ample play time and it feels a lot more like being on a team. You play your part, and that's all you really have control of. I love it.

this sounds really sweet, they actually made it worth while to practice this time around and i like that basketball improves your jumping ability which is really important as a WR or DB.

The reason I haven't played NCCA 2006 and stuff is because they refuse to fix simple game play errors like catching the ball. I hope NCAA 08 is good, but I'll reserve judgment.

I'm more of a franchise guy myself too, but I think this legend mode looks kinda cool. Especially with the hyper-sim thing, it saves a lot of time.

i wish they still had the division 1AA school stadiums. i go to towson and loved playing at unitas stadium. i mean i can understand the complexity of putting all those stadiums back in, im assuming its space and memory complexities. ps3 use of blu ray could take care of that right?

360 DVD-9 is big enough too. EA developers are lazy *******s though. No Div. 1AA at all in NCAA 07. Thats why I still play 06 (rented 07).
