Hey Fin family.

Do any of you live in Montreal and want to be a game tester? I am a recruiter for Volt/VMC game labs.

Just thought I see if anyone here lived in the area and would be interested in the position for a summer / contract job.

The pay isn't alot. $8/hr. But it makes for a fun job. NBA Live is being worked on right now.

I worked for VMC in Redmond. it is a VERY easy job. It almost feels criminal to get paid to just play games. Well if you like the game at all. Feels like torture if your game is Fifa Soccer.

Yeah, it is pretty tight around here. Even I am not aloud in the game labs. And I do all of the recruiting. My key cards only get me so far.

That was three years ago. I was a part time game tester.

Right now I am a full time game tester on a core team. A MUCH better job.

no, not at all. It is one page.

THe only thing that is annoying is this feeling that you are treated like children. Which is understandable, but not being able to leave until EVERYONE turns in the cd and fun things like that. It can get grating if you are an adult. It is understandable as where I worked they hired any Tom, Dick and Harry. Some didn't even like games, just liked the idea of getting paid 10 bucks an hour to sit on their butt.
