I'd hold out a couple more months. Quad core prices are due for a heavy slash.

dude...thats like 3 years of 107 a month for a pc?

you will be so tired of those payments.....in like a year....

my first pc was from dell, and i did payments and that thing was slow and crappy and i was STILL paying on it...

i don't recommend it...you don't need a 3500 dollar machine to do anything....you can build one for under a 1000 that can do all the same ****.

debt ftl.

Dont do it. No matter what if you have to make payments, dont go through Dell, their interest rates are way too high. try to get a low rate credit card and pay that way.

payments suck....and they start to build when you find other stuff you need to buy. save that 100 a month and get a nice car...or a girl

With that interest, he'd end up paying more for his computer than I did for my current car.

Don't know if they still have the no intetrest for like 18 months, that what I did and got a xps 710, only way I would have gone through dell since there is no interestest and you can easily pay it off before interest starts to accure.

Also Dell is in some hot water over their warranties so I'd avoid.

My best friend has been battling with them for months cause they literally deleted most of her warranty. They also will fight you tooth and nail over your honoring warranties. Could be a class action one day cause of it.

Not if you are only paying $107/month like he is suggesting, when it costs in excess of $3,500.

agreed, i got a dell with their financing and the interest was crazy... i was sending 100 a month and only 60 was going towards the actual cost of the laptop... 40 a month to interest and fees and whatever... so i just paid it off totally...

dont do it... pay with a credit card or save money first and pay for the whole thing...

your to young to be going into debt already. Be smart and learn to save up and buy things with cash (outright). yeah it sucks to wait sometimes, but by the time you save enough to buy that monster, you can get it at a lower price or you can by whatever is the top of the line then.

Trust me, you dont want to be tied down to anything debt wise.

Actually if you have no credit (ie: no loans or credit cards etc), then talk to your bank.

With a co-signer you should most likely get such a loan at a much better interest rate and it helps establish your credit rating far better then Dell.

If you have solid credit and just don't like cc's that's another way to go to. Wouldn't need a co-signer most likely.

Dude, i can make 107 dollars a month like nothing. I dont give a hell about interest rates or anything IS THE COMPUTER worth the 107 a month.

You can build exactly same as that comoputer costing around 2,400 by ordering from newegg. They do offer credit card called Preferred Account which you can make payments on. The benefits by ordering the parts seperately is that you usually get longer warranty and most will not fight you over the warranty like dell does. It is cheaper by around 1,000 therefore you should save 30 to 35 a month if same interest rate but I doubt that cuz dell tend to offer higher rate.

Tomshardware.com says that there will be price cuts for cpus and gpus coming soon, more likely in a month or so. The price cuts will be very big. Maybe it is better for you to wait another month or so....
