Verified Information

Ace Combat 6 takes place in 2015 in the Anean Continent, north of Yuktobania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuktobania), a country featured in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_5:_The_Unsung_War).
It also features the effects of the Ulysses Asteroid, as seen in Ace Combat 04 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_04).
The game will have new countries: the Republic of Emmeria, Kingdom of Nordennavic and Federal Republic of Estovakia.
The player's squadron is the 28th Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Wing "Garuda," with the player's callsign (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aviator_call_sign) being "Talisman."
The player will have wingmen.
If the player helps other military forces (such as naval and ground forces) complete their objectives, then the player can call in their support if necessary.
The superweapon is confirmed to be a flying fortress that can carry aircraft.
A joystick will be available when this game ships. Called the Ace Edge, it consists of separate joystick/throttle components and connects to the Xbox 360 via USB. [4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_6#_note-3)
As of June 11, 2007, EBGames and Gamestop stores in the U.S. will be taking preorders for an Ace Combat 6/Flightstick bundle. The minimum reserve down payment is $25, and the full price on release date, in total, is $149.99 U.S. It is unknown when preordering will end.
The Game will be distributed by Atari in Europe.[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_6#_note-4)

There will be only 15 LICENSED aircraft in AC6, with a large special weapons payload for each.[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_6#_note-5)

Damn, I need to go pre-order the flight stick bundle. I had to skip it when I got AC:5 due to price, but now i have enough money and I know Hori sticks are top quality.
