I guess I never really notice a difference i was playing css at 35 fps on average and then my new card runs it 100+ and i really don't notice any difference. Which I guess it depends on the person some people pay real close attention to things like this. I know the human eye can see 200+ fps. I mean I got a xbox so I got no worries but if I was a ps3 owner i wouldn't be mad really.

I'll still get it on the PS3, and I guarantee the difference won't be significant.

Oh well, bet we all stop playing Madden in October, anyways.

Either it's gonna suck for the third straight year, or GTA is gonna put it away.

I had to look twice to make sure that wasn't a Microsoft website. Seriously though as a PS3 owner I couldn't care less. I didn't buy the system for Madden. I doubt the difference will be that noticeable. I'll probably still be hooked on Oblivion (which is better on PS3 by the way) anyway when Madden first releases. I'm tired of people trying to make one system look so much better than the other. They're good systems, there's lots of good stuff to look foward to on both.

Madden, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Lost Odyssey (still talk about it making it in 2007), Assassins Creed, GTA IV, Halo 3 (passing on that one), Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata (maybe). Busy just off those games alone and I haven't even included picking up the Darkness or Overlord and probably missed some games.

This says a lot about developing for each system, I mean the PS3 is supposed to be this incredibly powerful machine and yet EA can't get their most popular franchise to run at 60fps while they can figure it out on the 360??

Okay, just can't let this go. If 30 fps was "good enough" you wouldn't hear racing game fans complain about it versus having 60 fps, or many sports gamers for that matter.

You get a smoother looking game and better control with 60 fps versus 30 fps. True, some people may notice little difference, but most will.

PS3 owners should be upset with EA for failing to get Madden, or NCAA, up to 60 fps. Throw 2K Sports in there too, as they also have APF 2K8 at 60 fps on the 360 and 30 fps on the PS3.

EA should be building Madden from the "ground up" for the PS3 hardware, not porting it over from the 360, otherwise we may see this same situation in 2008. On the other hand, as an Xbox owner I put up with PS2 ports, so I guess this gen is a bit of revenge?:D

When you live in a dorm and play games on a 20 inch screen, stuff like that doesn't really matter so much anymore...
