Offensive tackle Joe Staley (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8282), the latter of San Francisco's two choices in the first round of the April draft, reached agreement in principle on a five-year contract with the 49ers on Monday

The 28th player chosen overall, Staley is only the second pick in the first round to come to terms on a contract, joining Chicago Bears (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=chi) tight end Greg Olsen (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8285), the 31st selection.

We need to get some of our picks signed!! and by the draft, all of them

They still have Willis to sign so I bet Staley was kind of an urgency for them to get a deal done.
Hopefully we get our guys signed soon.

I wonder how many rookies one year ago have signed compared to now. Only two 1st round rookies signed? What the ****?

I hope Ted Ginn doesnt become another Jason Allen hold out man.

I hate hold outs. It kills the team chemistry. We need everyone at camp on time to all be on the same page

Maybe we sign Ginn pretty soon

I wonder who is more at fault for not signing in time for camp? The player or the agent, wanting a bigger cut.

Prolly the agent
