That was hilarious...I just have one question....

Me and like-minded Christian students are trying to organize a mock stoning of openly gay students at our campus. We will be using crumpled up gray/brown construction paper to represent rocks, and will recite bible verses in opposition to their sinful nature. We will throw a volley or two of these "rocks" at every Gay person we happen to encounter that day.
How long do you think before this guy and his buds got the ever-lovin' crap kicked out of them for pulling this stunt?

Sadly, I could see other people joining in on such an event. Especially at a testosterone filled college campus.

Gravity: Doesn't exist. If items of mass had any impact of others, then mountains should have people orbiting them. Or the space shuttle in space should have the astronauts orbiting it. Of course, that's just the tip of the gravity myth. Think about it. Scientists want us to believe that the sun has a gravitation pull strong enough to keep a planet like neptune or pluto in orbit, but then it's not strong enough to keep the moon in orbit? Why is that? What I believe is going on here is this: These objects in space have yet to receive mans touch, and thus have no sin to weigh them down. This isn't the case for earth, where we see the impact of transfered sin to material objects. The more sin, the heavier something is.

about a girl being born with mental disabilities]

This girl is like a leper so what she needs to do is try and find god

if she really believes she can be healed from this state, she will be healed from this state

Most afflictions like this are caused by sins committed while still inside the womb. If she can repent for what she does god will embrace her and make her as human as you or me but if she chooses not to she'll always be like this

god tests every one of us [emphasis added]

WTF?
Oh you're going to love this Pagan:

This past spring I was expelled from my high school. Why? Because I'm a Christian. There was a girl in my class who was wiccan, and I didn't want demons to possess me or anyone else and save her from satan. So, I told her that her faith was evil and told her to accept Jesus as Savior and she would be saved. Simple as that. Just say the sinners prayer and you can be saved!

Well I got sent to the principal for that. She said I was 'discriminating' against her religion. I was only doing what the Bible, God, Jesus and my pastor said! How is that wrong!?

Well, afterwards I was forced to aplologize, even though it's a sin to, so I never meant what I said. So, instead I put a copy of a Jack Chick tract in her locker about how wicca and a paganism lead to murder, rape and other horrible things because it lets the devil get inside of you. I also left a little note about how she was going to hell. I was hoping she would see the error of her ways and repent from the evil, disgusting 'religion'.

Instead I was called down to the principal again and this time there were two police officers there. And they said I was under arrest for harrasing this girl and threatening her! What did I do? I just wanted her to accept Jesus and be saved! Now her family (all evil, stupid, disgusting god hating wiccans) want to sue me for discrimination and creating a hostile workplace! How is that fair? She's the one who's discriminating against me because I'm one with the LORD!

Jesus is the only way to salvation! It's that simple people! No pope, wicca, or anything stupid like that! JESUS ONLY! Why is is wrong to tell others that? It's all the fault of the ACLU and simlar atheist organizations trying to destroy us Christians. Next they'll want to genocide us for doing our Godly work.

There are fanatics of every faith. Let's remember that these folks do not represent the majority of Christians any more than some of the Muslim fanatics represent the Muslim faith.

It's a shame that the boy in #3 took his life.

That's what I thought too.

The there was the parents that were going to sue for custody if their daughter and her partner had a child. And they tried to say they did not impede their life in any way or whatever, they merely let their daughter know how they felt about her lifestyle. What a crock. :(

I know ,it is frightening that there are a decent number of these fanatics though.

Webster describes a fanatic as "inspired by a god. One having excessive zeal for and irrational attachment to a cause or position."

There may be inspiration for a mock stoning by a god but I would doubt the Almighty would look down with pleasure upon the situation. However all of the acts listed above have a rational. They all believe they are acting for the good of the people in question (I am giving them the benefit of doubt). In every case they believe the eternal soul of the person(s) is in peril. If you saw a child in the middle of the road about to be hit my a car your instincts would be to run out into the road, at your own peril, in order to provide salvation. So to, in each of the cases above, they seek to give warnings of the peril they believe others are in.

Christ himself acted zealously. It is described in the Bible where he made a whip, and then drove the money changers and the cattle out of the temple. He saw His fathers house being used for profit and not worship and he took action.

In the end I believe most violent acts are not of God. Harashment against witches, and homosexuals would all fall into this catagory. Speaking a warning in love would not. The part missing in the above situations is the love.

This one was one of my favorites:

If your original Hebrew disagrees with my original King James --- your original Hebrew is wrong. If your original Hebrew agrees with my original King James, your original Hebrew is right.

As for them being fanatics of every religion. If I lived in a region where there was a majority of muslims with access to internet (say Turkey) I would probalby find a similar thing and laugh at such posts too.

Admitting that it does not represent the totality of christiandom does not mean i cannot laugh at the ridiculousness of the statements.

Wow.... Just.... Wow....

A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However he should not penetrate, sodomising the child is OK. If the man penetrates and damages the child then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however does not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister.

By the way, this I know cannot be christian at all... I am just surprised someone can try to justify such sickness to himself on the basis of religion... any religion whatsoever.
