NFL | Ikegwuonu injured, will miss 2008 season

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://www.kffl.com/link/188), reports University of Wisconsin CB Jack Ikegwuonu (http://www.kffl.com/player/18310/nfl) (knee) suffered serious knee injuries while training Tuesday, Jan. 22. He suffered a torn ACL, a torn MCL and damage to his kneecap and will need reconstructive knee surgery, according to a source. It is unclear if he will be taken in the 2008 NFL Draft (http://www.kffl.com/link/159).


all these guys making money and he just lost alot

OUCH. Oh man thats horrible.

Woah that must have been some intense training to do all that.....horrible for him. Maybe in three or four years we're all sitting back saying 'wow he beat the odds'

Which means he could be a 7th/UDFA project for us..he does have the talent. If it were me, I'd take that chance, especially since he doesn't have a history of injuries like (Glass) Joe Toledo.

Thats alot of damage done though. Id would certainly put him on the PS or something.

He was one of the CB's that I thought would be a great addition to our roster! Man, I just hope this didn't kill his football future! That's a LOT of damage to recover from.
