Updating a previous item, Len Pasquarelli (http://www.kffl.com/link/17), of ESPN.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/9), reports University of Wisconsin CB Jack Ikegwuonu (http://www.kffl.com/player/18310/nfl)'s (knee) knee injury suffered during training Tuesday, Jan. 22, is limited to his anterior cruciate ligament and may not force him to miss the entire 2008 NFL (http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl) season. Ikegwuonu will undergo surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament once the swelling subsides.

He could be a late round steal. Sort of like Michael Bush. Id love to take him in 6th or 7th and let him sit out the year and learn and heal and practice towards the end of year not play then come back ready on 09.

I agree, who could be a late round steal like when we signed injured undrafted free agent Adewale Ogunleye. I would definitely use our 6th on him. Good thing it's the first pick in that round, we might have a chance.

What round was he projected to go in? I would love to get a talent like that late in the draft. Also similar to Rod Wright, a first round talent that we got in the 7th.

I have seen talk he can still go in the 4th or 5th round.

I have seen Mocks that have had him going in the second round. I live in Badger country and know he has the speed and strength to be good in the NFL. He has had some off the field issues and has been known to run with the wrong type of people. He grew up in the slums of chicago. He got in trouble last season because he and his brother broke into a house and stole a playstation and some money.

But if he can controll his character problems. He can be a very good corner at the next level.

I would be very excited to see him in a Dolphins uniform. I remember reading some mocks that had the fins taking him in the second round. But with his knee injury he can now be had much later.

Jack Ikegwuonu, CB Wisconsin
Projected: 2nd round
Good or bad move? A terrific but occasionally inconsistent number one corner at the collegiate level, he's a flake who didn't play through a slew of bumps and bruises
