I'm on this guy's bandwagon. I would love for us to get this guy. He showed up in practice, and he showed up in the game. There was never really a threat to the QB's blindside in the Senior Bowl. He has long arms and reacted well to double moves. On the inside moves he would typically just wash the defender down the line.

However, he must get stronger, and try to finish every block. Other than that he could be a solid LT for us. Say what you want to me but this is my guy.

Yup Since DRC won't be there we should reach for Nicks at 32.

He has great size and frame. Has aton of upside and is a little raw.

He has 35 inch arms. Nature intended for him to be a LT. Those arms can keep him out of trouble and make up for some mistakes. He'd be a steal, at 6'7" - 343lbs. **** me.

I doubt he makes it to 22 though. 6' corners who can run, cover, and cause turnovers don't last long.

I've seen guys try that at the bar. Hit on everything that moves, the odds say that one will say yes.

Dating?

I thought it was mating. Maybe it is just because I'm from out of town, or country?

he isn't 6'7", but that is OK for what you said about his arms

if a LT has long arms then 6'5" is a nice height for him

true but i think they might go with a guy like McKlevin there cuz of his ability to return as well and play other spots which is what NE loves. i think they mite even try to trade out of it as they attempt 1 trade every year to gain another one for the next (as in gain a pick). they need LBS and a lot of em esp with their type of defense and how the front 7 in a 3 4 is what helps the secondary out the most. So expect a LB to go first before a DB esp with the DB depth in this year as oppose to LB's.

Yeah Pats will probably trade down its like them.

If Pats were picking before the Jets Id have the Pats taking Gholston :(

yea either way its a lose lose. just depends how we wana lose, a great LB or a great CB lmaoo. NE finds ways to make players great. its in the culture of that organization for hte last 5-xx years.

Exactly.

But the combine could make him top 5 lock. Which would be fine.

um, hello? cromartie isnt even the 2nd rated CB in the draft. he should be there at #28. then, again, maybe more CBs get drafted this year in the 1st round. so u probably right.

I like Nicks a lot. With his right arm he seems to throw the defender down to the ground every other play. Not sure if he ends up at RT or LT, but if he's going to be a RT, he needs to be careful with that throwdown move, or he'll end up throwing guys into the qb's knees.

Well atleast your name fits.

Um, hello. Did you watch the Senior Bowl the two best were playing: Leodis McElvin, and DRC........others that were good were Parick Lee, Charles Godfrey. But, please don't ever talk to me as though I make baseless claims, nothing is further from the truth.
