So, let's see here guys...

Madden 2001 - Eddie George has a seriously subpar year following
Madden 2002 - Daunte Culpepper another seriously subpar year
Madden 2003 - Marshal Faulk battles Injuries all year
Madden 2004 - Mike Vick out for at least 6 weeks
NCAA 2003 - Harrington battles a crazy injury
MVP Baseball 2003 - Randy Johnson injured and Miguel Tejada has a joke of a year following the MVP

am I missing anything?

Seriously though, is it a curse? What does everyone think??

Sorry everyone, I didn't see the 50 billion other posts on this same topic... But I did show that it isn't just Madden... it's all the games. Good luck to Carson Palmer this year.

Intelligent Post. He isn't even starting....but If he does have a bad year he is only a rookie.

It is really just a Madden curse. It has happened every year since PS2 came out. I wouldn't say the NCAA one is for real because almost all QBs struggle (Marino was the only one who didn't) in their rookie year if they play. The baseball one could start something though.

Just hope no Dolphin is ever on the cover of Madden.
