Who would you rather have as a replacment for Pennington?

That's a close one for me between Plummer and Holcomb. None of those three are anywhere near being more than mediocre, but of all three only Plummer has the tools to succeed.
Holcomb has talent, but with the loss of Verba his pass blocking is gonna be breaking down more often allowing the defense to pressure him and cause him to throw before he chooses to. His value took a bit of a hit with Verba being lost for the season.
Brunell doesn't have hardly anything to work with. Jimmy smith is out for 4 weeks, and Jacksonville doesn't even have a legitimate #2 receiver after Smith.
Of all the three, only Plummer has a good trio of receivers, and a great O-line to protect him while he makes his reads. I don't think Plummer is that much better that Holcomb, but I do think his numbers will slightly edge Holcomb's out. Both of 'em are head and shoulders above Brunell though.

Holcomb has one of the deepest recieving corps in the league and has the arm and head to put up huge numbers.
This one isn't even close, Holcomb.
