The Pulse of Radio reports: RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello chose not to comment when asked by MTV.com about rumors spreading lately that RAGE is in the studio at the moment recording a new album. Morello was questioned during a shoot for "The Bright Lights of America", a new video from political punk act ANTI-FLAG. Morello plays a cranky sports coach in the video, which is taken from the title track of the Pittsburgh act's newly released eighth album. Morello called ANTI-FLAG "the best punk rock band of our era."

so is anti-flag the "new" rage against the machine or a side project of morrello? will delaroach(sp) still be the lead singer? it would be nice to have a new rage album like their first.

Anti-Flag is their own band, Morrello is just appearing in their video.

I would love to see them pick up where they left off on Battle for Los Angeles. I think that was their most complete album. It was a shame they broke up at that point, and that we've been deprived an overtly political band during the Bush administration.

I love Tom Morello's sound, but Zach needs a serious punch in the face. I can't stand his voice. Reading about him online, he doesn't sound like he has too much to complain about has far as growing up and having a tough life. I can appreciate that he sings about that as far as other people, but he needs to shut the hell up. Still, Tom's guitar sound is amazing, I look forward to a new album by them, and once again muting Zach's vocals via Pro Tools. :peace1:

They should make an intsrumental album and leave Zach at the door whining about stuff he already has like free health care and other people paying his bills. Somebody punch him for me.:shakeno::up:
