I think this would be a great cover athlete! Although i was kind of hoping a patriot would get the madden curse.

Well at least they didn't put any Fins on it... Still holding out on a Kicker/Punter though. =P

So I guess the rest of his life is cursed now?

I sure hope not.

To be honest I didnt think he deserved it. I would've much rather seen Sean Taylor get the cover.

A Patriots team picture would have been fine for me. Love the arrogance of selling 19-0 Perfect Season books prior to the Superbowl, and then losing.

At least the Madden Curse cant get him......Or can it?
Maybe it will skip him and affect the Packers as a whole?

That would be fine too, I know a lot of GB fans with heads that grew larger than there torso last year.

God i'm soooooo sick of this Favre man-love. Seriously must be the most overhyped quarterback ever.

You honestly don't think he has been overhyped the second half of his career?

No. Besides Marino and maybe Peyton Manning. He is the best QB ive ever seen.

Even when he's chucking up interceptions in crucial moments of the playoffs?

I guess not specifically at that moment. But same with Dan Marino. Its the way those two played the game that separated them from the rest.

Have they ever put a retired player on their cover before? I mean he technically shouldn't even be in the game but he's going to be on the cover? I'm confused here.
