Didnt see that coming. Booker looked very promising as a 3rd down back. The one thing that this could mean is Miami will be drafting a rb at some point. Maybe Kevin Smith.

Why did we do that?

Don't we have rb issues now??? I mean we let Chatman go and now we trade Booker.

We have Ronnie Brown who is coming off a major knee injury and Ricky Williams who is one puff away from being banned from the NFL. Hardly seems like a good rb situation and this draft is thin thin thin at that position.

Not built to play for Parcells, I have no problem trading Booker for 2 players who might start for us next year.

Fine with me. Booker has flashy moves but when you sit back and evaluate them, far too often he's dodging air, and doesn't propel himself to advantage situation. He jukes then the guy tackles him anyway.

I'm reminded of the temporary board, when Reggie Bush was coming off a poor end to his second year and Booker flashed a little bit in December. There were many posts asserting Booker had the same skill set as Bush and would be an equal pro. LOL. I remember posting that everything tends to drift back to the beginning, and within a year Reggie Bush would rightfully reclaim his status as an NFL star, with Lorenzo Booker doing the stationary zig zag, in mop up role. Luckily, it's elsewhere.

It's kind of a reversal of the Spielman mindset. He got an extra #3 for Ogunleye, but made sure to throw it away within a few days for Lamar Gordon. Parcells and Co. give up a pick they otherwise wanted to keep in the Dallas trade, but it turns into a sensible 1-for-2 swap a day later.

Bad move IMO, has the talent if used properly. Funny that the people that had bad things to say about him were fans from Duh-U.
