I am thrilled with the pick. I knew that we would be picking a lot of linemen in this draft and so far, none have disappointed. Merling and Langford look to contribute immediately on D and Long and Murphy should be able to shore up our offensive line. Langford does move extremely well for a big guy and I hope to see him smashing some running backs and QBs. Hello Mr. Brady, my name is Kendall and this is my friend Phillip!

You can often find some great guys at these smaller schools. I think he moves really well for his size and I like the pick.

In 2007, offenses made it a point to steer clear of Langford. Still, he managed to lead the team with a career-high 72 tackles (32 solo), ranking second on the squad with six sacks, 13 1/2 stops behind the line of scrimmage and 12 pressures in 11 games. He caused two fumbles, batted away a pass and returned an interception for a touchdown. He also blocked a field goal.

Sounds like a good pick to me... read his stats from other years too..

This Guy is one of those late round gems from a smaller school where Sparano knows a couple coaches at. Great Pick up!

I think it was a nice pickup for the Phins.

He has great athleticism and could be an ideal fit at 3-4 end.

My only problem with it is that there are too many DL on the team now and some young guys like Roth, Solai, Wright can be cut. If BP didn't like the young talent on the team why not try and trade them for mid rd picks. He may end up having to cut some of them late in TC and get nothing in return.

He's very fluid, but seems to be a bit slow on his change of direction. This seems to be because he plants his foot and uses more power than quickness to change direction. Not a bad attribute since he's a DE.
