I wastching video over at Miami Dolphins.com on today practice and noticed we had strip the helmets of the logo, now this I like. I remember when Parcells was the coach of the Cowboys the first season he did this. The idea was nobody was prt of the team until they earned their logos. I love this idea and was really hoping The Trifecta would use it.

i hope he does this at TC as well. Some of the vets really need this. Can you imagine the look on JT face when his helmelt is missing its logo.

He'll get over it. In fact, he'll probably put a rainbow on his helmet in it's place.

I thought I remember reading an article that said Jason, from here on out, is anti-helmets, because it "takes away from his ability as an artist to freely express himself in whatever fashion he chooses".

I'll see if I can find the link.

JT will probably stick a picture of Brady on his hemelt since he has such a huge man crouch on him.

Guys, the Dolphins have been doing this for years. I'm not sure about other teams, but the Dolphins have done this for quite some time. I've been to minicamps and training camps in the past to see the practices. Logos are placed on the helmets when preseason begins.

GO DOLPHINS!!!

This is the first time I noticed it, and I have seen quite a few Dolphin pratices myself.

I like it good way to build unity. . I also like the idea of eliminating names off the back of our jerseys during the regular season but I know it won't happen since this is a money making business..

With as many new free agents as they signed this year, they probably needed to have a bunch of new helmets rushed down just to be able to practice. Training staff didn't have time to put the stickers on them? :d-day:

the problem is, that even if they suck *** through training camp and practice and everything, they'll still get the logos on the helmet during the regular season. so they may never truly earn them.

Good thing they didnt make the players earn there logos last season...Other wise Ronnie Brown and Will Allen and JT would have been the only ones.

Don't they remove the logos all threw training camp so the equitment personel don't have to clean the helmit-helmit skid marks every day? That's what we did in pop-warner and high school? Just a thought?

It's nothing new. That's how training camp was when Don Shula was the coach. The helmet was all white with a lone green stripe down the middle.

Correct. And it was also that way under JJ and Wanny. It was the Nicktator who changed the tradition...

Great. Parcells is giving out stickers to the good kids. And JT has his name on the blackboard with a check mark.

They used to have "logo-less" helmets during camps years ago. Pretty cool!

He wasn't actually suggesting it, he was making a rhetorical comparison on how he thinks both situations are wrong.

Why go there? Because people don't bat an eyelash when patently homophobic statements are made.

where I think it can be an effective technique is when a young rookie is upcoming and gets his logo before a lazy struggling vet that the rookie is projected to replace.

Straight guys don't bat their eyelashes.

But really, noone said anything about bashing, torturing or bad mouthing anyone who lives an "alternative lifestyle". They made a joke.

Noone is trying to change you or preach how the Bible says you're gonna burn in the depths. So get your fishnets, your high heels, and your favorite cher wig and take your pride march to people who really need to hear it. The Gang Green message board.

It sounds good in theory but the Jets didn't have logos until TC and we won 4 games, BP did it in Dallas and never won a playoff game while missing 2 of 4 years- same thing here in NY except we missed 2 of 3 years.

It's different in Miami. Taking that candy @ss logo off their helmets even for a short time has to make them feel a little less gay.
