hey i wish him the best, prolly wont do anything
billy p hates kickers and he is sending a message by having like 5 trying out now, he doesnt like feely or approve of his mouth. i think we should get rid of him and breed a young kicker of the future. we all know that teams are built with recievers and kickers, thats what my good friend cam camron told me at least

Tall quarterbacks.

Actually you need to get it right.. Mexico was a part of Spain up to the 1800's. That's why they speak Spanish in Mexico. The roots of the country is indeed Spanish from Spain.

Mexico became the first and largest provider of resources for the Spanish Empire, which became the most populated of all Spanish colonies. Mexico was filled with Aztecs, Mayans and Olmecs etc of Spain for hundreds of years. And a good amount of Mexicans today have direct ancestry to those Mayans, Aztecs, Olmecs etc of Spain.

And the only Mexicans who are Americans are the ones who have US Citizenship... Unless they have US Citizenship, green card/Visa, - Mexicans in the US are considered "illegal aliens" , not Americans.

Man I'm confused.....

Sorry about the sarcasm, but calm down a little. In our over sensitive AMERICAN community, people often use Spanish or Hispanic when talking about 'people that speak primarily spanish' so we don't have to guess if they are from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guam, Hawaii, Alaska or Canada.

I think we should keep the english kicker, Jay Feely, by the way. Not because he's english, cause that would be wrong. Because he is a veteran, has cold weather experience, is consistent, and I really like the fact that Parcells doesn't like him.

America is "not a country" ? LOL.. You are talking about the Americas, not America.

Even in the dictionary, the first definition for the word "America" is - "the United States".

Don't know how this thread got so off topic, but I will perpetuate this...

"America" is not a country ...The United States Of America is.
From Wiki.

America/Americas
In many parts of the world, America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_%28disambiguation%29) in the singular (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammatical_number) is commonly used as a name for the United States of America; however, (the) Americas (plural (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plural) with s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S) and generally with the definite article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The)) is not and is invariably used to refer to the lands and regions of the Western hemisphere. Usage of America to also refer to this collectivity remains fairly common.
While many in the United States of America generally refer to the country as America and themselves as Americans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#American),[44] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-43) many people elsewhere in the Americas resent what they perceive as misappropriation[45] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-44) of the term in this context and, thus, this usage is frequently avoided.[46] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-45)[47] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-oxfcdn-46)[48] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-47) In Canada, their southern neighbour is seldom referred to as "America", with the United States, the U.S., or (informally) the States used instead.[47] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-oxfcdn-46) English dictionaries and compendiums differ regarding usage and rendition.[49] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-48)[50] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas#cite_note-49)

Oh jesus. In every dictionary the term "america" is defined as the United States. It's obvious what the reference was pointing to.

And when it comes to wikipedia, that is not a valid or official source as anybody can write in to them. And the many mistakes on wiki have been well documented, hence it not being considered an official source.

Look Grey I don't want to argue with you, But feel I must. Any word can also be added to the english language. When did anyone think that "LOL" or "website" would be added? The sources for the wiki post are from several Oxford resources. And I think they know a thing or two about the english language if I'm not mistaken. :)

Umm, even the oxford dictionary has the word "America" defined as The United States.

Furthermore, I was being quoted on the term American. And that as well is considered AND defined as an inhabitant of the US.

definition = Of or relating to the United States of America or its people, language, or culture.

haitians and cubans etc etc coming to America on their rafts and landing in AMERICA are always yelling "America ! America !" I have arrived etc etc .. If they considered the islands they came from america, they wouldn't be shouting the word "America" here when they land ashore.

They wouldn't be screaming "I Love America ! I Love America" constantly as soon as they gain asylum...

Really, I can't believe this has to be explained to some folks here.

Greyboy shutup.....seriously. You act like a teenager with all your argumentative posts. People from Mexico are Mexican not Spanish regardless of what language they speak. Ever heard of Brazil, know what they speak? Portugese, and they are known as Brazilian not Portugese. Quit trying to justify your lack of respect for ones heritage with misdirected information. I also hope you realize that your dictionary sources for the definition of America are AMERICAN. This country is the united STATES of America on the continent of north America just above south America.

Now back on topic please and let's try to respect eachothers heritage and nationalities by calling them by their proper names. I'm sure you expect the same respect from others.

Well then all Americans are English. You know since we qer founded by englishmen. Well why not go back further than that. Everyone in America should be called Indian or native American since America actually belonged to the natives before we (englishmen) got here. Or maybe we could go back further and call all whites norweigan and all blacks African. I mean that is where we all came from right?

Let me simplify this for you since you are so thick skulled. Your nationality is derived from the nation from which you are a part of. Mexico, Mexican. Spain, Spanish. France, french. Germany, German. Sweden, Swedish. Do you see a trend? Just accept the fact that you are wrong and move on. Quit cutting and pasting from all your little google searches trying to sound smart and give it up. You are wrong, end of discussion.

If we could find a younger solid kicker I wouldn't mind trading Feely for a pick (I don't know his value but we got a 6th for Mare). I still am not sold on Feely's ability to make clutch kicks; not to take anything away from his near perfect performance on routine kicks last season for us.

Lol i think that would be awesome, maybe we would finally have some unity as a human race.

Anyways, about the topic whats up with this feely/parcells beef? I thought Feely was one of the bright spots on the team and I checked his stats and they were pretty damn decent over 90% FGs converted.

America isn't a continent, it actually includes TWO continents, North AND South America. I don't think anyone from Tierra del Fuego would consider themselves Americans anymore than I would consider myself Argentinian just because our two continents both end in "America"

Back to the topic though, the kid, does seem to have promise. Like I've said in 257,824,578,931,467,369,073,568,956,136 other threads so far though, I really could care less who the kicker is as long as he gives us the best player we could have at that position, and the best chance to win games. Period.
