I am 21 so i know what i will be doing the majority of the time...but i just want to here some stories on what and what not to do. Someone at work told me to do these resort tours in vegas and you get like free dinners and show tickets and they even give you money to gamble with...is this true?

I went to Vegas for the first time 3 summers ago. What a blast. Gambling is a must, luckily I broke even in all the casinos and came back with all my money. Make sure to go to some shows and some restaurants. I recommend "Samba" in the Mirage. Its one of those Brazilian Rodizio 9 course meat buffets. It was only like $40 dinner. It would have been more with drinks, but because we had a reservation for one night that they closed early, they told us to come back the next night and they would make it up to us. We each got a free $15 with dinner and the drink was ****ing huge. Couldnt even finish it. It was worth it. Make sure to hit up the Stratoshere, when we went they had a new ride that opened that hangs the car off the side of the building from the top. Definitely need to see some adult shows. I recommend Crazy Girls at the Riviera. Its one of the most popular out there. We stayed at the Mirage, where are you staying? There is the Bellagio water show in the day and at night, same with the volcano at the Mirage. The only thing we didnt do was go to a buffet or go downtown to Old Vegas. Everything is on the Strip, no need to leave. There is also a TON of traffic on LV Boulevard. We did ALOT of walking on the strip. The best part is on every single corner the Mexicans handing out business cards for hookers and strip joins. They stand there flapping them around and everyone just walks by. The cards are also all over the ground, noone actually keeps them. You can also make a trip to the Grand Canyon or Hoover Dam. We did the air and bus Grand Canyon tour. It was a full days event, but they pick you up from the hotel, bring you to the airport, fly you to the Grand Canyon airport, and take a bus and make 3 stops. After they fly you back to Vegas and the shuttle brings you back to the hotel. Vegas is a great time, I cant wait to go back.

The Hoover Dam is a must do. It is massively huge and pretty much the most impressive man made structure I've ever seen.

Just go walk the strip and check out the casinos. The Venetian and Ceasar's Palace are HUGE! The Bellagio is great, but my favorite was the Wynn. Awesome!

You'll have a great time, don't worry.

Its a little expensive but we did the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon it was awesome. We flew by Hoover Dam, landed down in the canyon by the river and had some food. Then flew back at sunset and did a flyby over the strip.

But the main reason I go to Vegas is the food. My advice would be eat early eat often. Ballagio, Wynn, Paris have great lunch buffets. Dinner at André's French Restaurant, Piccaso's, Mesa grille, Burger Bar, Rosemary's Restaurant, Noodles, just too many to name and hard to go wrong.

Also free drinks while you are gambling, I would suggest doubles. Have fun Bro.
