Blame the parents and the kids inability to seperate fiction from reality.

I been playing M rated games since I was 10 with Mortal Kombat. I am not a violent guy even though Fox News or CNN may want to say I am. ;)

Bull****, my twin brother died from playing GTA III on the edge of a piranha-filled bathtub. Thanks for the memories :shakeno:

They do certainly have an effect on some kids that can not be denied. Saying the games turn kids into killers is ridiculous, but it seems like sometimes it kind of "flips a switch" or something.

its likely the switched would be flipped at any time though. just cuz someone is allergic to salt doesnt mean we should stop coking foods with salt.

Define what age you think a kid is. If it's under 17, the kid's ***** *** shouldn't be playing that game then. It isn't intended for kids under 17.

I didn't say that they should, but anyone who denies that violent videogames and media can desensitize people to violence and sex is not realistic.

Violent games do desensitize you to violence. That is inrefutable. That said, to blame acts of violence on video games is absurd. It falls solely on the parents for not raising their children the proper way.

I love how people complain about kids being desensitized to violence because of games that has fantasy violence while there are other cultures in the past and the present that are desensitized to violence due to REAL LIFE violence.

That hardly makes their case invalid.
