I had a sudden fascination to read up on the famous Dark Side of the Rainbow synchronicity of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon with the Wizard of Oz. I am planning soon on checking if the myth is true. But my question is, other than the above, what are some albums that sync up with movies...or is this the only one?:beer1:

I really can't think of any.

As for the DSOFM sync up...it does work. Just have to make sure you sync it up at the right time (the album ends with a heartbeat just as Dorothy listens to the Tin Mans chest...creepy man..creepy)

Dark side of the moon definitely works.

If you play dark side of the moon over Gigli then nothing happens... but you don't have to hear the dialogue.

oh yeah Akira pretty much syncs up to anything
of course your favorite album makes it better

I actually just saw the ending scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey (aka Jupiter and Beyond) sync'd up with Pink Floyd's Echoes (the song). It was amazing.

pink floyd as actually approached to do the soundtrack but for whatever reason
they were unable to-that is one song that they did write for that part of the film
