I finally broke down last night, bought myself a PS2 and Madden, and only got 4 hours of sleep before having to get up for work.I'm exausted today. All that staying up, only to lose four straight times. I won't say the scores, because y'all will laugh, but here's a hint: Anyone remember that game versus Jacksonville a few years back? I felt as if I was re-living it.

Man that game is awesome. Reading all of your posts about it drove me to insanity, and I had to go get it.Thanks for the extreme lack of sleep I will now be getting, due to the addiction I have to this game. No, really......thanks.:D

Yeah Man the game is damn good isn't it? And you have only played a few games...wait until you hit Owner Mode etc. You will love it. Madden 04 is da shizzle dizzle

The game is way harder than PS1. I was unbeatable at that. As for owner mode, I jumped right into that. I figured I'd go about halfway through the season just to get some practice, and then start over. Actually, I was okay until I'd have to punt. They scored on me every time I punted to them on the punt return. The computer also scored on numerous fumbles. I was able to move down field okay, but any time I had to punt, they scored.

I haven't read the manual yet, so I don't know how to do the playmaker?

Thanks, Primetime. I played one game last night. For some reason I only saved one game the night before, so I was on week two, instead of week five. I played much better last night, but still got beat by the Jets 28-17. ( Not very realistic game.No way we lose to them clowns this week.:D) I have a hard time running effectively.Ricky only got about 65 or 70 yards on about 25 carries. Jay threw for 295 yards though. No stupid punt returns for and touchdowns, but the Jets ran back an INT for a touchdown. Losing 28- 17 wasn't so bad considering the fact that I threw 6 interceptions, and only grabbed 1.(Thank you, Seau.)The Jets had good field position the entire game (due to the interceptions), so the score should have been even higher, imo.

Oh, one more thing: I love the fact that you can challenge plays. I tried it for the first time last night, and overturned a fumble by Mc Drop.

You could challenge in Madden 2003...maybe even 2002. It isn't that new.

I think pro. I finally won a game last night. My special teams are killing me. My defense is ranked 8, and my offense is ranked 2 (1st in passing, and I conveniently don't remember where I'm ranked at rushing but it's pretty low.)I get owned on punt returns, and Jay loves to throw int's that get returned for tds. (He had 6 ints on the game last night that I won)

Oh, I've thrown plenty. On the HB GO play in shotgun formation, I kick a$$ though.
