Does anybody have any insight as to where that kid Crabtree is going to go in the draft, has anyone watched him play and if so, how do you think he'll do at the NFL level? somebody tell me something.

He is a projected top five, maybe even top three or two pick. We'll have to see how things go. He should continue putting up insane numbers. I've only seen him play a couple times but I'd say the real deal.

we will have the first pick, so he will be there if we want him, but we will probably pick Defensive player

Fins have to go either WR or DB. Interesting, I'll keep an eye on this guy this NCAA season. I can't believe I am already worried about this after 2 games:(

Looks like the same video we saw on Ginn, but he's a bust and this guy's the real deal?
Much rather get a real DB.

here's another thing....will Crabtree come out after his sophomore season or will he stay for his junior&senior seasons to make his game better....and if he does stay in school for his junior&senior seasons....what kind of shape will we be in when he does come out...

im dorry,I really want him too.But something about Crabtree eats me alive.I was raving about hm after his freshmen year, but reflecting back,I'm a little nervous about him.He plays in a system where IF you get drafted, your either a HIT or a MISS.And m sorry, its just too risky.Crabtress isnt a safe pick,at least, not as much as Maualuga would be.He plays top notch talent, and stil lputs up those huge humbers. If Crabtree playeed for lke Ohio State or something, would be absolutely SHOCKED, if we didnt draft him if we had the chance too. But,if we try to build for Henne, and he turns into a Mike Williams, when Maualuga should have really been the pick,we'll be kicking ourselves.

bottomline,Id feel MUCH safer with Maualuga first, cause theres still some talented receivers avaible in the second round, such as that receiver from Penn St,or Kelly from Clemson, and way more.

Texas Tech's offensive system DOES NOT EQUAL SQUAT IN THE NFL. Remember the Univ. of Houston's "genius" offensive system in the late 80's???

Even produced a Heisman winner in Andre Ware which did absolutely what in the pro's???

OH YEAH REMEMBER THE KLINGLER'S HOW DID THEY FARE IN THE NFL BY THE WAY???

No thanks I'll pass on Crabtree.

it's the ONE concern people have for crabtree... "he's a product of a system"

last time i checked, we aren't looking for a QB, but a WR ! there's no denying his physical tools and soft hands, his stats are amazing and may be a product of the system, after all, he gets a lot of catches, but on the other hand, he makes the most of all the opportunities and that has nothing to do with team performance, it's pure individual effort and talent

my take is we draft him or an elite, OLB pass rusher that we desperately need ... right now, by the looks of it, our front 7 is able from time to time to put pressure on the quarterback and the run defence is very good, so i'd expect a OLB in round 2 and crabtree in a fins uniform, at 90%, and believe me i've never been so sure about a pick

on top of that, he doesn't fade away in big games:
