Whatever. A win is a win! The Seahawks are a lot better team than we were last year. Give them credit, Holmgren had his guys ready to play. Enjoy the W

This is the NFL. There is no such thing a weak win. We didn't play well no doubt, but a win is a win. This isn't the BCS where style points count.

nfl wins are tough to come by, this is not college football. seahawks stepped it up today and played physical d. this fins team is young and they are learning. they held on give the credit they deserve. the old fins wouldve let mare beat us.

can't we just be happy to have another win ?!
man last season we didn't care how we win and now you ask for destroying other teams?

Imperium

We were 1-15 last season and in the midst of rebuilding. There is NO ONE in the league that we should be destroying. It's that mentality that will get us in trouble.

There are no easy wins in the NFL. And btw, the OP is the type of fan that will NEVER be happy. Anyone thats complaining about 5-4 isn't a true fan. We were 0-9 last year at this time and eliminated from playoff contention in November.

Seahawks have a good defense . . . and Seneca played well today . . plus Walter Jones was holding it down on the left side . . . they are better than 2-6 . . . we beat a good football team today.

Maybe we should have, but it sure beats the previous outcomes against teams we should beat. I think this game gives an accurate progression of this team to date. This game can be closely compared to the Houston game in which we lost. Like the Houston game, the team faced adversity late in the game, but unlike the aforementioned game, they overcame it. I think this game shows we are growing into a team that can win close football games and we are getting better each week.

I will take another W E A K win against the Raiders next week. I don't care if we win 3-2, a 6-4 record and 4 straight wins looks good no matter what the stats say.

you're a w e a k fan if you think less of that win cuz of style. Go be a cowboys fan. For a good part of the game our offense moved the ball well, and the d stepped up in the end. Bring on Oakland and 6-4!

I'll take 5 more "weak" wins if it means we go 10-6 and make the playoffs. God, who cares if we win by 50 or by 1...a win is a win.

tied for second?

New England 6-3 1st
New York 6-3 1st
Buffalo 5-4 2nd
Miami 5-4 2nd

I suppose if you really wanted to you could say we are tied for third, but since there isn't really a definitive 1st and 2nd, this is how I'm looking at it for the time being.

The only "TRUTH" is that we won today.
Actually in the NFL there should be NO easy wins no matter what the records are.
Do I think we COULD of won by more sure.
DO I think we COULD of loss yes.
But DID we win?

YES
the team will learn but its always nice to learn from a win and not a loss.
Im sure the team is sorry they didnt win up to YOUR standards..
or cover the spread..

I don't get some of you "fans" How can you not be excited? We were 1-15 LAST YEAR!! We are currently 5-4 and in the hunt for the division. I couldn't be happier.

Those weren't in any kind of order, just listing Ws and Ls, if you are talking divisional wins for a wildcard spot...then yes we are actually in a definitive 3rd place right now.

Then again if your like the original poster of this thread he would say we are tied for last place:rolleyes2:

I'm happy with the progression of this team since it is not possible to go from worst to first in one year. This team will improve week to week and a number of players will not be here next year and we will continue to improve next year.

I love the direction this team is going and cannot believe we win a game and people can only speak negitive regarding the Dolphins.

How can you honestly say your a dolphin fan when you spew negativity???

I dont care at all. BIG win today, broke that gay 2 wins/2 losses trend, and now we stay home to take on the crap heap Raiders and try to get to 6-4. What a day to be a fins fan...wooooooo!

what 5-4 team doesnt have issues? did you think we would dominate on all sides of the ball this year? you have to expect some dissapointment on our team. dude we were 1-15 last year, did you really expect steak and lobster this year? dont worry be happy!

first of all, you should never doubt me being a fan again. everyone who went through a 1-15 season and still cheers for his team on Sundays doesn't deserve to be doubted.

secondly, i should have been more elaborate. i'm not excited with how we played for stretches of the game. winning and being at 5-4 is getting me excited.

I'll take it. It's not like we play in a BCS style-system where you have to blow out each team to keep rising.

Keep winning and doing our thing, and we'll be fine.

We lost to the SB winning Giants and the Playoff bound Pittsburgh Steelers each by less then a TD last year and we finished 1-15, It happens in the NFL.
