For me it has to be:

1. Band of Brothers
2. Sopranos
3. The Wire
4. Rob and Big
5. Jackass, Wildboyz, and Viva La Bam (these shows are just too funny)

Tetragrammaton
11-16-2008, 10:09 AM
1. The Wire
2. The Sopranos
3. Seinfeld
4. Arrested Development
5. Six Feet Under

All five shows were great from beginning to end. I like the Office and Scrubs, but they aren't that funny anymore.

I forgot Curb. Damn.

For the most part, I like HBO shows, but recently they have been disappointing. There was a point in the history of the network where they showed The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiam, The Wire, Six Feet Under, and Deadwood.

Now what do they have? Big Love?

I've always been a fan of cop shows...NYPD Blue wasn't bad either. I've never really gotten into watching the CSI shows though.

I watch Unsolved Mysteries from time to time too, though it's not as good as it was when Robert Stack was the host.

I agree.........6 years ago. Thats the last time it was funny. They are just embarrassing themselves now. I didn't even make it through the movie, I turned it off an hour in. They need to just cancel it already....

i caught the mini marathon on amc. show is excellent. cranston is the man. watching that first season, i couldn't help but think of how much more intense it would be on hbo or showtime - where you can get away with a little more. there's only so much you can do with crystal meth on amc. it would also benefit from a token hottie - there's no talent on that show whatsoever.
