Down the road sometime around March the rumblings will start. We'll here the name pitched around "NFL sources" more than the word "football".

Please don't mention it here though.

The name of Terrell Owens will cost some team over approximately 11 to 12 million dollars a year.

My prediction? 7 years for 80,000,000.

It's already being discussed in SF. (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/chronicle/archive/2003/09/27/SPG7G2005S1.DTL)

Dear sweet god I hope not.

If I had to actually root for this bozo I might have to force myself to vomit every Sunday just to get the taste out of my mouth.

This is pretty bad too. Can you imagine that big mouth in the Big Apple?-

"Jets may take a T.O.

Terrell Owens in a Jets uniform next season?

The Jets, looking for a big wide receiver, could be interested in the free agent-to-be. One team insider said he'd love to have the 49er all pro.

Privately, Owens has indicated that he'd like to play in New York. The price will be steep. There's also his bad-boy personality, which resurfaced this week when he ranted on the sidelines during San Francisco's loss in Minnesota.

But if anyone could handle him, it's Herman Edwards. Owens would be a headache, but he'd be a perfect fit in their West Coast offense"

Arizona has the money.

Philly and Tennessee have the need.
