he sounds beastly, nice size and he will go later on in the draft so he's a possibility

i hope we can somehow get this kid...i've got a good feeling about him and think he'll do good in the NFL and i'd like for him to do good things as a Miami Dolphin...

I've had an eye on him for a bit... very good character, very hard worker for the team. he is a huge target with very good hands. definitely can help our red zone woes. He is not as slow as people may state, its just he doesn't explode off the line overly well, but he gets going. definitely needs work in route running, but is not overly far behind as some top WR's in the draft.

definite 3rd round pick for us if he is around!!! i like this kid a lot

He was one of the small school receivers I had in my "needs" post on draftees.. this guy caught 50 TD's in college, small school or not, that's a lot of TD's and at that height and weight, he can turn into a breast in the NFL if he keeps the same aggressive nature he had in college. I think he comes in with a chip on his shoulder...and that can make him dangerous..

What's even more amazing is that Cal Poly runs an option style offense similar to GT/Navy, so getting 50 TDs is a great accomplishment.

"Barden, who turned 22 on Jan. 1, said he interviewed with the Dolphins on Monday, even fielding a couple of questions from Bill Parcells, the team's head of football operations."

"He was in the room: Big Tuna," Barden said on Wednesday. "They were firing questions at me from all directions. I'd like to think I showed them my character and my personality and that I'm the kind of the player you want in your community and your team."

Barden said he's not sure what Parcells asked him. "It was a busy room," Barden said.

But on Tuesday, Parcells said if he could ask a player one question, he'd have him name the three most important things in his life - and football had better be one of them.

Well, Ramses?

"I'm not sure of the order, but my family and my friends and football," Barden said.

That's a classic parcells question...

IF football isn't number one, you're not worthy!

Tuna: "What football magazines do you read?"

Ramses: "All of them"

Aww man...I was hoping he would have said "football, family and friends in that order."

news from the senior bowl is that he isnt getting a whole lot of seperation and its making him look average.-just a tidbit, means nothing other than the fact he may be there later for us.

Although it's very similar to my Scorpio Babers rant, how awesome would it be to have a huge guy named Ramses out there?

oooo, I like that, he measures to be a slightly taller AQuan Boldin type of WR. Yes! Apparently he's slightly faster too. A little bit thicker Plaxico Burress? :hi5:

Sounds like a question Katie Couric would ask.

This guy is basically what we should have gotten in a player when we signed Wilford. I watched every Poly Game this year and this guy did not break Jerry Rice's Records on accident. He makes the clutch catches and is pretty hard to bring down due to his size. If he is around in the 3rd this is a dream pickup for me. If the jets/pats/bills get him I might just puke. Yeah he played at a I-AA school but it was a school that beat San Diego State (I-A) and took Wisconson (Big 10) to OT (He scored OT Touchdown). Lost only because kicker missed 3xp and 1 fg.

Oh yeah. Go Poly!!!

if i keep popping into these speculation threads i just might have to watch the draft for the players instead of only for miami.
