Two guys that are slowly impressing me, and i definitely want to see more of:

Center: Antoine Caldwell... this kid seems to have awesome feet and has great base. moves very well side to side, and locks up quickly on defenders... pretty good size, seems to be able to bulk up more, solid strength!!! great speed to add to this.

Guard: Kraig Urbik... this kid is big, and thick. he has good base and feet, and seems to have solid technique all in all. needs to be more flexible though, and work on quicker feet. he locks in quickly though, and gets good extention with his arms. seems pretty solid in many ways, and could become a grinder for Parcells in the run game.

I'm glad to see you finally start to come around on the OL in this draft Bane. I think this class is very deep in OL.

Urbik is the kid I've really seen as a potential gem for the Dolphins. His game is ideally suited to Sparano's system. I think the kid will be around in round 3 because there are so many T's and C's in this draft that a slowish G may get bumped down and he'd be the guy. He can also be an emergency RT, and our staff loves vesatile guys from a roster standpoint.

I think we'll draft 2 OL this draft, and I'd be very happy if Urbik is one of them. I haven't given up on Satele either, because he's a good young C that just needs to improve his core strength in the offseason program. But, this is a very good year for C's, with Mack, Unger, Wood and Luigs all looking like good prospects. Caldwell isn't bad either. I sure wouldn't mind taking one if one of the good C's falls to us, despite having Satele. But, we still need a backup T IMHO.

yeah, i jsut needed to see other guys, cause nobody really has impressed me at all.

Center wise i like Caldwell more cause he has a strong base and hits up front quick. Mack and Unger have weaker legs, gets driven back and turned very easy.... Caldwell has such quick feet and moves well laterally. Unger really i dont like more i see actually.

what tackles have impressed you more??? i struggling on that position finding someone.

One interesting note on Kraig Urbik...he started a full season at RT for the Badgers early in his career...so he has the versatility.

yeah i am definitely big on Caldwell, especially if we dont get Hood... we can hopefully get Caldwell a lot lower in the rounds!!!! and he will be quite solid in my opinion

Caldwell looked good

Eric Wood dominated both Raji and Brace in the Senior Bowl. He also played both center and guard in the game. He was great at pulling and with pass protection....

cheers to that....

i will also add Caldwell moved extremely well, getting to the second level, and showed his strength to lock up front and drive people back.... also played guard too as well.

Re: Satele- I've been all over Mack for a while because of Satele's poor play, and I like what I've seen of Unger, too. But some really good news came out recently- Satele played last year with a torn labrum. Good news in that it explains why he played so badly last year, and hope remains for next year when he's healthy.

Caldwell- some of the best feet and quickness I've ever seen on a Center. The fact that he displayed a solid base at the Senior Bowl is a very good sign. I'd like to get him 2b or 3.

I'm still thinking Mack, Unger, Harvin or Nicks in the 1st. Harvin- I'm so tired of the Ginn comparisons, they're just inaccurate. What we don't have is a WR that's quick AND fast- Harvin is just a stud, plain and simple. 4.30 40 time, 405 bench press, and one of the quickest players anywhere. instant offense. Look at what he did against Oklahoma with a fractured ankle, not even close to 100%. We'll be lucky to even sniff him at #25. And when he's a full time WR and not a RB, too the injuries will subside. Ginn surely is not quick, just look at his kickoff returns- Bess is way, way quicker but on the slow side. Nicks- a playmaker and aggressive, alpha male true #1 type- just what the doctor ordered. Mack- a beast in the middle despite some awkwardness. Unger- solid, great feet, and extremely versatile.

William Moore- has slipped and would be a great pickup at #44.

If Carey walks- Ebben Britton at #25. A mauler like Duke Robinson would be nice, too, but we have Smiley/Thomas returning, thank God. OT Jamon Meredith is a possibility at #44.

The more I think about it, the more I think OL and WR first two rounds- the question is which comes first and which comes second. But depending on how the board falls, the FO will do the right thing and take the safe, value pick that fills aneed and fits our team. That's my guess, anyway.

:hi5:Good call on these two, I like both of them. I thought I was the only one noticing Urbik this early.

DR PHIN: great observation on wood dominating raji in the game.

he DID domiante him AND ron brace to. in the practices, MAX UNGER
was kicking there arse also. i keep hearing all this no one could block
raji at s/b practices but that is NOT TRUE at all. unger held his own
through all of the practices.

MY O-LINE FAVS:

MAX UNGER

ANTOINE CALDWELL

ERIC WOOD

KRAIG URBIK

HOWARD JOHNSON

MICHAEL OHER

PHIL LOADHOLT

these are my STAND OUT, hope miami drafts them o-line
choices. howard johnson is just a friggin' LOAD who can
actually play at 6-6, 388. [mostly muscle].
