Same here. We have no one stable enough to buy a jersey for. Either aLready old or contract yr dono status of or soon to be FA. Delmas will be my number one target follows by henne probably. And I wna find out that we aren't getting any new jersey designs 100% so til then I just sport my dan Marino throw back jersey that everyone compliments as if it's a sports car I got out of loll

well, the "personality" round in the Rashad johnson vs. Louis Delmas goes to Delmas without a doubt... Rashad is a good leader but has put himself in some trouble, Delmas seems like a humble, hungry, leader with heart and passion. Bill and Tony will like that A LOT

Louis also won the run support round... i'm 50/50 now on both, i'm thinking cushing in the first and delmas with our second would be highly possible/good

I already liked him as a player, but wow, that is the type of role model you dream of having on your team. I am really impressed by this guy and want to see him succeed wherever he ends up. Thanks SR7, great find.

Have to say that the more I hear about Delmas and watch him in the Senior Bowl, the more I hope he's wearing a Fins jersey next year. A big hitter who works hard and stays humble? Tell me something not to like.

I think that if Parcells thinks this is a future star in this league, they will not hesitate to take him at #25 or #44. We can't risk losing out on this kid. He has that look and what Mayock likes to call the "it" factor. Seems like a born leader, very mature, and that Zach Thomas spirit...

I'd nab Delmas at #25. Then go Ron Brace at #44. Then go Pat White at #57 (yes, he's going to fly up draft boards with how he is wowing everyone at the Senior Bowl)....or Barden at #57, if he continues to impress as well...

Plus, Sparano looks for the FS to be the QB of the Secondary. He liked Crocker's cover skills....but when he noticed that he lacked that "QB" of the secondary leadership skills, Sparano went back to Hill, who has that too.

Delmas has the Hill smarts, with the Bell instincts, and the potential playmaking hard hitting Otogwe type of player...

I say definitely Delmas at pick #25.

exactly and also the leader ala Pennington where he holds extra sessions with teh team to take care of bussines just as he did with the O line and WRs. its just what we need and id snab him at 25 cuz he wont make it to 44. no way no how. Latest i see him going is mid 30s b/c his personality alone is a man amongst boys personality and his play is one of hte best as well.

• I was very impressed with Western Michigan S Louis Delmas (http://www.draftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/s/Louis-Delmas.php) today. Even though he was sitting the session out in street clothes he still stayed involved, encouraging his teammates every time they came off the field. This kid is a leader!

Delmas' status for the game is still up in the air and his injury remains undisclosed, but a scout who spoke with him told us that Delmas is going to have tests done at a local hospital this afternoon. Regardless of if he plays in Saturday's game or not, Delmas can leave Mobile with his head held high. We now rank him as one of the top two safety prospects (along with Alabama's Rashad Johnson (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2009&id=24654)) in the 2009 class, which means Delmas has leapfrogged Missouri's William Moore (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2009&id=23877). Seeing Delmas and Moore on the same field this week has made it clear that Delmas is the more complete player. Moore has great straight-line speed for his size, but his somewhat stiff hips hinder his ability to match up in man coverage and he hasn't eased concerns about how quickly he diagnoses plays. While Delmas (6-foot, 197 pounds) isn't nearly as big as Moore, he is still a tough run stuffer who flies to the ball and his instincts in coverage are outstanding. As one personnel man said this week, "If you don't believe in Delmas, go watch the Western Michigan-Nebraska game [in which Delmas had 11 tackles -- five solo -- and an interception]. It tells you everything you need to know."

Draft Countdown says he has excellent instincts. That says alot to me. Smaller school with something to prove. They will have there eye on the safeties in this draft IMO. There wasn't much to choose from last year so...
