Ron Brace won't last that long.

Two ILB's that don't fit the mold we want.

wow i would be totally displeased by some picks... herman johnson is struggling A LOT in the senior bowl, imagine going up against nfl players...

william moore is a guy i don't really like, but at the 2B pick it's pretty good value so it could be a nice pick, but there will be better options IMO

Beckwith is undersized and is not the type of ILB we're looking for at all

Ron Brace won't last that long, coye francies neither with the senior bowl week he's had... i think he'll land in late 3rd or 4th round... 5th would be very good value, too good to be true in fact

as for that 7th rounder, i don't know who he is... and remember, we have 3 7th rounders... not that they really matter but it's worth mentionning

WR GREG CARR

Wow, dude. You really need to pay attention to Mike Mayock and the rumblings of the NFL Draft before making a wishlist/mock draft.

William Moore at #57??? Dude, he shouldn't make it to #25! Ron Brace at #121????? Brace is the 2nd best NT in the entire draft. He is a likely late 1st/early 2nd roun pick. We'd be lucky if we find him at #44.

Coyle Francis is a 2nd or 3rd rounder, not a 5th rounder???!!!!! Wow!

Greg Carr is a 4th rounder at most!

You need to recheck you mock.

If I remember correctly, Derek Nicholson is a smaller LB, as is Darry Beckwith. Both would be more suited to a 4-3 IMO.

you have 4 guys id dislike hugely... starting with Unger and Herman Johnson... two top linemen i really dislike.

then Beckwith at LB and Terrence at DT....

i'll explain if asked, i am eating lunch now, and am loving it too much

TERRIBLE.

i didn't want to be that critical lol...but i gotta agree... sean smith is the only one i like and he's a bit of a reach. Coye francis would be good value ... that's about it

Not bad but Sean Smith isnt making it to us in the second

ChambersWI
01-26-2009, 11:32 PM
not gonna say terrible, just overly optimistic. The only reach I see is Johnson (who hurt is stock down in mobile) everybody else except maybe Unger probably won't last to where you have them being picked.

I MAY BE OVERLY OPTIMISTIC.

I was last offseason when I thought we'd make the playoffs too.

two different situations. Making the playoffs is about taking care of business. The draft has to do with every other team.

Not terrible, but if we go C in the first, it HAS to be Mack!

Love the Sean Smith pick!!

I wouldn't say terrible at all.

*Max Unger is Round 1 would be brilliant. The guy can play four positions along the line

*Sean Smith is getting a buzz so I doubt he will be there at #44 but if so.. GREAT Pick.

*Coye Francies could fall anywhere from Round 3-5 to be honest.

*Darry Beckwith is suite to be a 4-3 Inside Linebacker and Nicholson should be an UFA

* Herman Johnson could play Right Tackle should we not re-sign Vernon Carey

RealDriscoll
01-28-2009, 01:52 PM
Ron Brace defiantly will not fall that far though. He will go in the 2nd Round.

herman johnson STRUGGLING at the senior bowl?

did you get a wrong jersey number? wrong name?

ALL really big men have some deficiancy, and a speed rusher
can get inside him [see jake long], but the only way you get
around him most times is if he slips and falls! if he is on you, its over
and your NOT going anywhere. at 6-6 and 388lbs of mostly muscle,
something has to give and it aint him!

had a real good game. stayed in for a long time. he is one of my hopes that
tha dolphins select somewhere in the draft.

herman wont go in the 2nd, but he could have played himself into the 3rd for sure.

if cary goes to f/a and herman johnson is gone, PHIL LOADHOLT would be my next
choice. i would be happy with either at rt.

I KEEP HEARING the finz are interested in ANDY LEVITRE. please god, NOOOOO!!!!

NOW HERE is a guy who really DID have a bad senior bowl. the practices AND the
game where i think he had a couple penalties and was slapped around most of the
night. my LEAST favorite o-lineman in the draft.

Mack or Unger would be a good pick.
Sean Smith is a great pick
Herman Johnson at 386 lbs is a big OL we need at G. Great Pick
I would take Mark Parson,Dom Johnson or Barden with the 3rd round pick
Coye Francis is a good pick unless Keenan Lewis is there.

yes. bad.
Unger is not a top 3 center and as a gaurd, robinson is much better.
Herman Johnson looked terrible at the senior bowl.
Smith is not as good of a FS as Delmas is.
there is only 1 lb in the first few rounds and brinkley is better than beckwith
so ya pretty bad.

Boldin is not a FA, do some research, and there is no way in hell that we dont resign Carey. Herman Johnson is not a second round talent, he is a project, and frankly not that good.

I'd prefer Duke Robinson in that situation.
