Why didn't you list Jordan Norwood / WR / Penn St.?

RealDriscoll

I don't think he gets drafted. he is the third best receiver on his team. I seee Deon Butler going in Round 6 at the earliest. Norwood doesn't make it. If you read the opning paragraph I said I left off some people who I didn't think would be drafted

Didn't think Penn St. qualified as a small school...

Anyway...I think Norwood has the best, and most consistent hands of the 3 Penn St. WR's....

Norwood confirmed this even more in the Jugs machine drill at the All Star Challenge...amazing hands...

You can think that but every scout for the NFL thinks Derrick Williams does and at the end of the day that is what matters.

When did those magic 8-balls you buy at Wal-Mart start telling you what every scout thinks?

Derrick Williams hands were inconsistent at the Senior Bowl....muffing punts...dropping passes..etc..

TedSlimm,

He had an inconsistent Senior Bowl? What game and practices did you watch? Obviouslly your football knowledge is missing something that out of a list of 350 players you noticed that the 3rd receiver from Penn State was missing. We will see April 25th if Derrick Williams goes higher than Norwood. Guarantee Williams does. Word out of the Senior Bowl was that Derrick Williams was one of the most impressive receivers there. Better check your sources Chief

Also,

Since when does muffing punts have anything to do with being a Wide Receiver Captain?

Cedar,

Who you liking at #25? I'm down to Hakeem Nicks and Larry English...

I'd really like Nicks if he's there. English or Sintim wouldn't be too bad either, nor would DJ Moore.

i don't know how you can be down to anything prior to the combine. you've seen games and the senior bowl. might want to see some of these underclassmen and how they look at the combine b4 you peg your pick.

clint sintim at #25 makes me sick to my stomach. i don't see it.

I dont know....what the hell does your HANDS have to do with CATCHING a football????

Of course Williams will be drafted before Norwood...but Norwood has the more consistent hands....

Williams is a quick twitch player...gets in and out of his breaks quickly...and runs good routes...

And allow me to be the one to inform you....Norwood will be drafted....Captain...

Hooshoops,

Why? Sintim is a great football player. He would be awesome in our 3-4.

My board for us is..

1)Larry English
2)Hakeem Nicks
3)Rey Maualuga
4) Clint Sintim
5) Sean Smith
6) DJ Moore
7) Peria Jerry

TedSlimm,

Don't really feel like getting into an argument about our pinions. I can tell you that handeling a punt is FAR different than catching a ball as a receiver so your point is null. I don't see Nordwood being drafted; just too much talent here this year.

Derrick Williams is far more than a "twitch" player, boss

after looking at the menu ill take..

1 order of Louis Delmas in the first.
1 order of Connor Barwin in the 2nd
1 order of Antoine Caldwell in the 2nd.
1 order of Domonique Johnson in the 3rd
1 order of Travis Beckum in the 4th
1 order of Jasper Brinkley in the 5th
and a side of Kaluka Maiva, Brooks Foster, and Morgan Trent in the 7th

I'm well aware of what Derrick Williams is...I'm also well aware that Norwood has for the most part, outproduced Williams over the last two years...

Williams - 99 rec., 1,014 yds., (10.2 avg.), 7 TD's

Norwood - 82 rec., 1,121 yds., (13.7 avg.), 11 TD's

Don't sell Norwood short just on account of the scouting reports you read...

I am not selling him short. I am saying that he is the third rated Receiver out of Penn State. Derick Williams is the only one guaranteed to be drafted. Norwood is a fine college football player but I don't see his game translating into the next level.

you're talkin to a guy who's had front row on the 40 yard line season tickets at uva for the last 10 years. i've seen all the top rated uva nfl prospects.

what i've seen from sintim is a guy who's uncomfortable in space cannot tackle in space has stiff hips does not change direction fluidly looks uncomfortable and lost at the senior bowl dropping into zones and with his hand on the ground in pass rush drills.

i think he's a situational pass rusher and run defending lb. i don't think he's a 3 down player. he can set the edge.

i keep reading people on here say how good he is in coverage i'd like for one individual to show me some footage of these coverage skills they keep talking about. i haven't seen it in 4 years. what i have seen is a guy who misses many 1 on 1 tackles in space he should make and usually comes up with nothing but air.

he's overrated. he will get destroyed in coverage.

you guys didn't see all these things at the senior bowl practices and game???

Jordan Norwood has the best hands of any WR in the draft and is the best route runner of the three PSU wideouts. To say that he'll go undrafted is ludicrous.

College now. I'm getting into the sports broadcasting field, and as a Freshmen already am an assistant for sports information (unpaid), and do camera work/commentary online for Lock Haven sports.

Anyways, I'm interested to hear your opinion on a couple players that really aren't discussed here much; Paul Kruger and DJ Moore.

That's great news about school.

Kruger is raw but talented. Is he a 4-3 end? He'll need a lot of work if he's to be a 3-4 OLB. But he's forceful, relentless and he plays run very well.

Moore is the best CB in the draft not called Sean Smith; flawless footwork, gets low, plants and drives, smooth transition, breaks hard and fast to the football, can trail, can diagnose quickly and brings lumber in the run game. Very good player.
