The Chicago Bulls (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=chi) and Sacramento Kings (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=sac) have reached tentative agreement on a trade sending Andres Nocioni (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2456), Drew Gooden (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1711), Michael Ruffin (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=741) and Cedric Simmons (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3030) to the Kings for Brad Miller (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=556) and John Salmons (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1726), front-office sources said on Wednesday.

The Kings would then turn around and ship Ruffin to the Portland Trail Blazers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=por) for forward Ike Diogu (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2750) and cash considerations, sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard.

Not a bad deal for either team. Sacramento can now play Jason Thompson at PF, taking over Brad Miller's spot.

i think the deal also opens the door for spencer hawes at the 5. not sure why the bulls are making this deal though. maybe for miller's expiring contract.

also, is it me, or does it seem like ike diogu gets traded every year?

I thought it was a pretty good trade for each team.

I liked them trading a 2015 second rounder for Sam Cassell, then releasing him.

What a stellar deal.

Yeah i don't get that.....

They also traded for Rashad McCants from Minnesota, that actually might be a decent deal for them as he has kind of underachieved.

I'm a bulls fan, I thought the trade was pretty good. I don't really know if that makes them really any better though.
