I think there is a former thread like this but I'm too lazy to look it up. Either way, it's time for a new one. Today was a special day, I caught the matinee of Watchmen with an old friend and then headed over to my favorite Chinese food restaurant afterword. I ordered my favorite General Tso's chicken with fried rice and crab rangoon on the side. I couldn't forget the sweet tea either. Real sweet tea, not tea with sugar packets dumped in.

So what's your favorite meal? The one I just mentioned is mine, but burger and fries are close behind.

Not what I ate, but I had to put an example in there.

Grilled sword fish... just messing with you buddy. :chuckle:

I will eat about anything, but I would have to say BBQ would be the winner. Hard to decide on BBQ baby back ribs, or BBQ pulled pork sammie. Either way, I'm sure I would be wearing a bunch once I finished.

Oh damn! How could I forget baby back bbq ribs? I'm actually ashamed that I forgot about it. I think it's because I just had general tso's and I haven't had ribs in a while. My favorite are Famous Dave's ribs. I know it's a chain but they do it right. Sticky Fingers is up at the top as well. Nice call on the ribs. I need mine with slaw, cornbread, fries, and sweet tea.

Homemade lasagna(Mom's).

If dining out, it has to be some variety of pasta or a nice cut of fillet mignon.

Dude if you came into town here to go to the good theatre, I certainly hope you didnt eat at a specific Chinese place here in town. Bad stuff in that kitchen bro. Anyways, that General Tso's is some good ****.

I went to Young Chow's. It's the only non-buffet place around. I hope that's not the one you're talking about.

I make a pretty good chili myself, infact, it's about one of the only things I can cook besides marinara sauce from scratch.

A nice Texas steak, Texas has the best steak btw. I can go to any moderately priced steakhouse and get a Shula's, Morton's, or Ruth Chris steak for about $30 less.

Marinara sauce from scratch? Scared of you Cedar. I wouldn't even attempt that.

I will however throw a pork roast (garlic and onion) in the crock pot with some sauerkraut. Top it off with some hot dogs. Let it all cook together. Tasty as f.

That's about it for my chef skills.

It's pretty solid. I usually only make it if I don't have anything else to do..it's pretty time consuming, but the end result is pretty good.

I make that and chili..that's about it, other than BBQing steaks or burgers.
