Notice any common denominator with the WRs mentioned who had very successful NFL careers: Mark Ingram, Troy Brown, Terry Glenn, and Laveranues Coles

Height 5'10" - 5'11"
Weight 190 - 194 pounds (5'10" WRs) and 193 - 196 pounds (5'11" WRs)

Basically, we might do best by drafting a WR who is 5-10" -5'11" tall who weighs 190 - 196 pounds.

Which WRs in this draft fit that mold??

What are the height, weight, and 40 time if known of the top 10 WRs in the NFL last year??

ridiculous:
there is a cadre of scouts, coaches & the GM that figure into the equation
the Miami Front Office is beyond reproach

He didn't draft Keyshawn, I think that was the previous Jets administration. IIRC, Keyshawn was drafted by the Jets in 1996, which was the same year that Parcells led the Pats to the SB.

He and Keyshawn were pretty close though.

I really like Nicks but I tend to lean towards Robiskie as our choice in the late 2nd with CB and OLB being the first 2 picks.

more than anything this list shows he drafts WR's late. so what? he missed on a bunch of sixth rounders.

You recall correctly. It was Rick Kotite that drafted Keyshawn with the first pick of the 1996 draft.

this doesnt tell the whole truth...

if you look at everyone else's track record for drafting WR's, no one's is going to be very pretty.... That's the nature of the position, it's hard for young guys to pick up on and many just dont make it.

I must say Bill Polian ( Colts ) has done quite nicely with his WR stable as of late. And the Cards are just stacked, they could do without Boldin and work those gigantic tight ends in more.
