1. Darius Butler- Best hips and the draft. Great and hands and good return man. Can help us on special teams, DB, and maybe even some wildcat. He is a little small but a proven playmaker is coveted in this league and he is one of them.

2a. Ron Brace- The NT to replace J-Ferg. This guy is huge and had a big senior campaign. Hopefully he slide here and we have just found ourselves the NT of our future.

2b. Conor Barwin- Many will say "He wont be here". Well he might not be, but some see him as a one trick pony and a fluke senior year. Also some see him as a TE. All this being said Bill Parcells loves versatility like this and he can come in a replace Roth opposite Porter and bring pressure.

3. Ramses Barden- This guy is going up up up draft boards so we need to grab him here. With Pat White being taken in the 2nd round, according to Mayock, we need a receiver who is tall and can go up and get it. No receiver in free agency has made it obvious that we will target one in the draft.

4. Scott McKillop- A hard working ILB can help depth and replace Akin one day. He is extremly productive having 137 tackles his senior year. At 6'1 244 he can put on like 5 pounds of muscle and be a thumper in the middle.

5. Joel Bell- OT depth. This guy is good so he may not be here. In that case I still see us going OT. Whoever we get will prob replace Vernon one day.

7a. Roger Allen- A huge prosepect at 6'3 326 he had over 100 knockdowns his senior year. He will give us O line depth and he can also maybe have a Donald Thomas type stand out camp.

7b. Terrance Moore- The SS from Troy will give us depth because Hill left us. He can also provide special teams play and lots of other practice squad plays to prepare for the coming weeks.

7c. Bernard Scott- A real talent but he has a history with the law. If the trifecta give him a chance he can be a real steal at the end of the 7th round.

Alright I think this covers all needs I hope you guys like it...

a little high for brace IMO. even though he probably wont last to our next pick so i'd rather take a top notch OLB that is lef t on the board. Then get a 3 or 4 round NT, Chris Baker

I personally think this covers many needs and areas without drafting way not many corners.

Also no reaches.

I think Barwin goes much higher than that.

Why are we looking to replace Vernon, our first round draft pick from a few years ago, who just signed a long term deal in the 5th round?

I still don't see why everyone like Brace so much.

first pick is great, the rest are not bad, just reaches and stretches.

I really dont care about Barwin to much. I really think Butler or Smith from Utah end up with the phins come draft day

Kenny Britt remind me a lot of Derek Hagan, a great college player but a bust in the pros.

Its a good draft position wise. I think you fill all the needs we have at the moment. If you looking for a DE/OLB in the 2b slot have a look at Paul Kruger, as I dont think Barwin will be there. I like drafting a T in the 5th as we are very thin depth wise at that position.

Love the Barden pick in the third, but I cant see McKillop being there at 4. But good job.

Wow, intelligent post. With a CB as quick as Butler, hips are the most important thing. He is agile, limber and fast, something most fast guys are not

Only way Barwin lasts that long is if NE trades some picks to go up high for someone.

No **** but fluid hips are important at the corner position. Maybe the most important charecteristic of a CB.

flip flop Barwin and Brace cause that's more likely how they'll go. Like McKillop and 7th rounders are what they are. I am not a Ramses Barden fan, but if we drafted him he'd contribute so grabbing 4 contributers with the first 4 picks is a good mock.
