I think both of them are more Safety types, and we are already looking ok at Safety.

That kind of assumes Darius Butler would be the pick if he did make it to #25. I wouldn't bet on that, personally.

I would like your insight on who Miami will draft with the 25th pick?

I'd take Hakeem Nicks at #25 and then get our CB in round 2.....Victor Harris should be there if Sean Smith is gone, and he can also run back kickoffs.

Butler should be the 25 pick

Pick Larry English, same as we'd do if Butler is still there at 25. That, of course, assumes English isn't picked earlier.

Easy answer..

Mark Parson form Ohio.. the best man to man cover corner in the entire draft, unreal this kid is not getting any kind of hype which is good, I would love to get him in the third if we don't get any of the top corners in day 1

To me, the New England dilemna haunts us at every pick. If we cannot get say a Barwin, then we have to go Butler, if thats our guy cus NE is sitting there at 34 waiting....

I see the possibilities including Darius Butler but also Sean Smith, Rey Maualuga, Brian Cushing, Michael Johnson, Clay Matthews, Tyson Jackson and Jarron Gilbert. It's really hard to tell right now because you absolutely don't know which player is going to be available.

I realize they need corners but they have a real high priority on the front seven, for good cause. If you're going to have weaker secondary players you need a real strong front seven that can put tremendous pressure on the passer and stop the run.

I like what I see. He definetly seems to be flying under the radar for some reason. Things might change come tomorrow when he has his pro day. I would not mind taking him as high as the 3rd or 4th round. Nice find

Not a big fan of Mickens. Personally not a big fan of DeAngelo Smith either.

Hey CK, who are your top 3 CB, do you think Sean Smith could workout at CB, or is he more of a safety to you?

Malcolm Jenkins, Sean Smith and Darius Butler are probably my top 3 corners, and that should answer your second question too. :)

Thanks CK, obviosly we will have no chance at Jenkins, but I am hoping one of those next two is there when we pick in the 2nd (I don't think we will take a DB in the 1st round). Thanks again

I know Sean Smith is tall, 6'3 I believe, and tall corners don't have a history of doing very well in the nfl. So what is it that makes you so high on Sean Smith?

put Alphonso Smith in place of Sean Smith and then your right, Smith better switch to safety or be drafted by a zone team, he wont be able to play man to man

man the best two corners in the league are 6'2, so i wouldn't say that. i'm talking bout Rodgers-Comartie and Asomugha. and Cromartie is also 6'2 so thats just BS tall corners are good

He played press which was pretty rare in college this year and translates well to the pros, he can run with anyone, and honestly I don't think he plays that tall until it counts.

I've been talking this guy up since January, I'm glad someone else sees this too. I couldn't believe he was not invited to the combine.

There's been something that throws me off about Davis. He hasn't been great in coverage despite his physical ability. And I keep hearing stuff about attitude and interviews...I dunno. I guess I just like Jenkins, Smith and Butler better.

I too also believe that V. Davis will be a bust pick...Even tho Darlington said he might be our first...I doubt it cuz Miami haven't even met with him...First pick should be if it were a CB...Jenkins, Sean Smith, or Butler

I gotta admit, having a CB that tall could be a HUGE advantage covering the likes of Moss and now T.O., assuming he can run with those guys.
