1. Clay Matthews-OLB-USC
Player we want is available, and we take him. He can do it all.
2a. Darius Butler- CB- UCONN
Green signing doesnt mean we dont want a corner. He is 1 on our list and he slides cause of size.
2b. Lesean McCoy-RB-Pitt
A RB this early? Yes Ronnies contract is expiring soon and Ricky isnt getting any younger. The best pure RB in the draft.
3. Juaquin Iglesias- WR- Oklahoma
A tall WR with good hands. Runs crisp routes and has been in a pro style offense the past years at school. Ramses Barden also may be the choice here.
4. Jasper Brinkley- ILB- South Carolina
He will be here. A big banger ready made for the 3-4. He can help on depth and help replace aging Akin one day,
5. Joel Bell- OT- Furman
Good slide here, but maybe not. His school was weak but he is a immense talent.

Not bad. I don't agree with the RB pick in the second round. We don't need one right now. We should just wait till next year and see what happens. A rookie RB can be inserted into the lineup and make an immediate impact. This year's crop of RBs showed that, but I don't think we need to draft one in 2009 for the 2010 season.

not bad, i like the Brinkley pick. but i think there is a lot better value than going RB in the 2nd. Juaqin Iglesias is a nice choice as well.

I know RB at 2 seems high but a RB is a need. Ricky is getting up in the years and Ronnie has had one full season. Also there is no point to take some one there and make it a reach pick.

we could do without drafting a RB that early

I like it except for no NT taken, and HB taken way to high.

Butler won't be there, it would be sweet if he was and we could get Matthews, but it would be one or the other in the 1st.

Taking a RB would be a waste of a pick. Saying Ricky is getting up there isn't any reason to draft a RB in the 2nd round. We have real needs. You need to remember that Ricky has a lot more in the tank than most RBs his age due to the few seasons he didn't play.

If we draft a Rb it would be in the latter rounds..still need to address the wr spot before adding another rb...

Picking Matthews and McCoy lower the mock significantly. Matthews is really overrated because of his work outs and drafting any HB on day one is a wasted pick on a position that is the strongest on our roster.

On the positive side getting Butler in the second is great pick
