I think Parcells is looking at these players in Round 1- Butler,Johnson,Maybin,English,Matthews,Cushing.
What if all 6 are gone?
Then he has to decide on the BPA or a position need.

If Harvin is there- he is by far the BPA.
Despite board criticism- he is a playmaker.
Or do you pick a Barwin, Smith,Sintim- who are marginal rd 1 players.

You might want to add ILB Maualuga to that Parcells list.

If all are gone when our pick comes up, I wouldn't be mad if we picked Harvin!!

Initially, I questioned his route running and hands because he played so much in the backfield. I even thought he would fall, possibly out of the first round.

After seeing his Pro Day workout, if he can stay healthy, I think he's going to be special. The kid has great hands and he EXPLODES in and out of his cuts, catches the ball with his hands then he's gone, no building up speed, he's just gone.

He's just a NATURAL FOOTBALL ATHLETE and with the various ways you can use him he might be the best VALUED player in the draft!!

Anymore room on the Percy Harvin bandwagon?

Maybin and Mathews haven't shown enough to be mentioned with those other guys.

Don't think either would be picked at 25.

Cushing, Bulter and English are real contenders for the 25 spot.

Out of all the WR's to be possibly selected in the 1st I would want Nicks but I think he too will be gone. So wouldn't you want someone like Heyward-Bey, he has better speed then Harvin, he's 6'2 and if he had a better QB his stats could be as good as anyone out there.

click on the link, and then click on the other link and you will see who is targeted for pick 25. i believe if the top 7 players are gone we should trade out of the first and get more picks

This week my list would be:

1 Maualuga - Total value at #25. Immediate impact player on defense.
2 Maybin - Too much potential to pass on, probably gone.
3 P. Harvin - I know I shouldn't but I like the guy. He loves football and plays with passion. Immediate impact in a Henning offense.
4 C. Barwin - It may be too high for him but he's been impressive so far. Still on the fence here.
5 M. Johnson - We love size and we love defense. Could be a steal.
6 C. Matthews - We both went to Agoura High, if Bill wants him, lets get him.
7 S. Smith - I like this dude. He's big and fast. Could be huge or NFL average.

Risk for a guy who may not eb able to play CB. Way reach for 25.

I don`t know why he wouldn`t be able to play CB.

As for reach.. Well, I would like Maualuga or Butler, but if they`re taken, I don`t think we can do much better then him.

He plays a tweener S/Cb. Kinda like J Allen. Thats the risk.

..And that`s the only thing you`ve got against him? That some guy said Smith could also play FS?

I think they`re quite the oposite players.. While Allen has more physical tools, Smith has better technique and instincts then Allen had when he was drafted.. In my opinion, of course.

Also, I still think Allen could be better, if it wasn`t for constant position and defensive scheme switching.

I`m not saying he comes without risks, of course, it`s just that I would love to see him as a phin, and I wouldn`t mind taking him at 25, IF there are no better options.

Charlie Brown is totally wrong. How is that for a sentence. Nicks has the best hands in the draft, he is big, physical, and gets open. Do some homework.

I would take Barwin before Harvin.

Skipp, while I do agree with you on Nicks, I don't exactly agree on Smith. I don't remember him ever playing safety in college, but maybe that's just me.

I think he has the tools to play cornerback and play it very well.

Edit: I DO think he'll be there at 44 btw.

If we dont snag a CB, OLB, WR in the first round then we should trade outta the first and collect another second etc.

I no he has never played it. im not saying he cant play CB. I just think there is an amount of risk because he isnt the typical CB form in the NFL. that may make him better, idk, i think that if the FO thinks he can play CB, than so do i
