Yup, I said it, not because I think they will have a great team this year  because they finally got approval to build their own stadium and can quit screwing up the Dolphins field. Can't wait for them to go

I cant wait for them to be called the Miami Marlins. Imagine if our team was called the Florida Dolphins.

I dunno, the Florida Marlins has a nice ring to it . . . better than Miami Marlins IMO. But all that money Miami Dade is dishing out for that stadium, they have earned that right . . . I'm in Broward anyways lol.

Florida Dolphins lol.

IMO the location is **** for Marlin Stadium they're going to average less fans then they do now its in the middle of the ghetto and to far for anyone to drive to If the Loria had half a brain he would have put the stadium next to the hockey arena and created a whole sports complex with shared parking and it would be more centrally located and it would create more revenue for the sawgrass mills mall but the people behind the deal are F ing idiots

With where the stadium is at and training facility, it might as well be "Broward Dolphins".

I could care less about the Marlins. Honestly, I don't like my taxes going to a ballpark for a team no one gives two ****s about.

Uh. No. I figure you're a Browardite. I don't go to Marlins games because not only do they field AAA teams, they're also in the middle of no where. I don't wanna drive that far north. Maybe with the ballpark alot closer, I'll go to more games now. I think everyone in Dade can agree.

Seeing as how you're closer to the county line than to Little Havana, I'm not surprised at all :err:

I am arguing because of the location, not because of the length of time it takes to get there. I'd rather go to Broward than to Little Havana by a long shot.

Traffic is horrendous down there, specially on that 836 on afternoons.

little havana aint that bad, come on don't you like scopin fine cuban pushy?

I love the Sawgrass Idea, Only cuz i live 2 minutes away in Plantation acres...

I think less people from Broward and Palm Beach go, and more Dade residents.
With the retractble roof, and hopefully a salary cap over 30 mil, we could win the world series again!!

We got a really talented young bullpen this year. i hope to see us win the East.

I drive from Port Saint Lucie to go to Dolphin and Heat games, I don't mind if I have to drive to Little Havana for a Marlins game.

Bout time the city pulled its head out and approved the 2 Time Champion Marlins for a stadium, and Thank God for the new parking garages too(surrounding areas still sucks).

It's been a joke for the Fins, Marlins and now the Canes to all play together @ JRB, Pro Player, Dolphin Stadium, or whatever it will be called in the near future.

It's still going to be bad to play the day after the Canes games too, so we just can't win as Phin Fans! But no more dirt infield!!! Funny how a billion dollar football team can get the *** end of the deal, and play this suspect field on any given Sunday.

Now if we could get the Phins outta there too lol (not gonna happening, but they should/could dome it); that stadium sucks for football atmosphere as compared to the Orange Bowl. You feel like you're too far away from the field.

At least the Marlins will have a true place of their own, now lets see if the crowds show up. I sure hope they do! Go Marlins!

You posted the same crap in the Marlins message board. The Marlins and Dolphins have always, and will always belong to Miami. Get over it.
