If you're like me, you loved Norm as Weekend Update Anchor on Saturday Night Live. As you know, one of his signature was making non-sequiturs about Frank Stallone. Well, if you've never seen Sylvester's lesser brother's imdb.com biography, it's a doozy.

Seldom has a performer been strongly considered for an Academy Award (http://www.imdb.com/SearchBios?Award) in both acting and music, yet Frank Stallone has managed to pull it off. His fiery portrayal of a brutish bartender Eddie in the film Barfly had Hollywood insiders abuzz at Oscar time, and his #1 hit Far From Over, from the film Staying Alive, was likewise touted for a 'Best Song' nomination. It's all in a day's work for Frank a gifted artist who is equally comfortable on screen or on the concert stage.

Yeah, there's always Oscar buzz with Frank Stallone. But just check out who wrote the page.

Saw him live late last year. Actually saw his co-star in Dirty Work, Artie Lange, the night before in an arena. It was kind of odd to see Norm the next night in a small club. Anyhow, it was the funniest set I have ever seen live, and I see A LOT of comedians. Norm had me rolling for two hours. Plus, he was a nice guy to meet off stage as well.

"Michael Bolton released his Christmas album this week. It's called This is the Time...Happy birthday, Jesus; hope you like crap!"

----Norm MacDonald

Anybody else check out his sketch album Ridiculous? Hilarious material, nice bit on Star Search.

I am not s huge fan. Sometimes his stuff is OK. He kind of falls into that Dennis Miller category where they tend to think they are smarter and funnier than they really are. But I would take Norm over Miller ANY day of the week.

The Turd Furgeson thing is pretty darn funny.
