WASHINGTON -- Longtime Philadelphia Phillies (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/clubhouse?team=phi) broadcaster Harry Kalas has died at the age of 73, team president David Montgomery said Monday.

That is sad. Any team that loses a voice like that is tough. He did great work for the NFL too. Sad day in sports.

I'm a grown man crying over this, and i'm not the only one. Harry Kalas was an icon in Philadelphia, he transcended sports. Not just the voice, but the heart and the soul of the Phillies. May his legend live on forever, RIP Harry, thank you for the memories.
